He said he went to his parents home or farm so that his family would be able to look after his son should they be unable to. Then said he didn't go near their houses. His son became ill, so he would have infected the dominics parents anyway. He said his wife went in the ambulance with her son?? Don't think that is allowed with suspected covid. They went for respite and nothing else.

We all need to get the type of car he drives - sounds like it runs forever without petrol ( over 500 miles + the castle )

My daughter finished 4 years at Durham last summer. We used to get up and back comfortably on a tank full if we started with it full. That was a very economical A3 and not a range rover though but the tank sizes are all relative.
