This is not an exclusive left wing agenda at all. Anyone watching Sky's Beth Rigby yesterday and her angry questioning of Cummings can see the sense of frustration that many in the media feel regardless of politics. Are Sky left wing? Many in the media and in the public are rightfully angry as this is not a story of politics its about truth and decency. His actions broke the rules. Those on the right wing may like to play mindless Trump politics and say 'Fake news' but this story isn't going away because it cuts through to decent people who have all made huge sacrifices and would not have behaved like Cummings regardless of their politics.
I think he'll keep his job for now but public confidence in the health message is damaged. Why should people follow the rules if you just need to interpret them? His defence for going to Barnard Castle was farcical. To test his eye sight?! If that's acceptable behaviour the public will rightfully decide the rules really don't matter anymore. This is dangerous as we emerge out of lockdown.
This is just the beginning of this crisis too. A winter of discontent is coming when hundreds of thousands will be out of work when furlough ends. The public again will have this in the back of their minds. The decision to back Cummings may in the long run be a very big stick to beat the government with.

Cummings has used his position to shit on you and me and if you can't see see that I pity you.
Next up will be the National Health Service then the Civil Service.
Do your research on Cummings, his family and his connections.
This man is at the heart of the Government and is in control.
Every politician has shit on them, it's just how good they conceal it or how people around them control it AND them.
Not sure why you think I lack moral decency for mentioning the difference in Cummings media treatment with that of MP Stephen Kinnock. Personally I think they should both go.
A Guardian hack daubed graffiti on the road outside Cummings home and the press had a big screen on a lorry playing an emotive interview with a woman who’s 13 year old son died alone of Covid, this was played continuously on a loop, not to Cummings who wasn’t home but to his wife and autistic son. So if you don’t think this is a Leftwing Media witch-hunt against him you’ve not been paying attention. Cummings is the Anti Christ for Reainiacs, he’s hated by the extreme left and he’s upset the Tory ERG. A lot of people want him gone, irrespective of what he does or doesn’t.

Sky is Left leaning, perhaps not to the extent of the BBC or Ch4 but there is a clear left bias. The Daly Mail thing cracks me up, not my paper of choice but those who use Daily Mail Reader as a pejorative term readily gobble up all the idiotic one eyed shite printed in the Observer, Huff Post Independent or Guardian.

Cummings is a guy who wants to break the old order, his numerous enemies make surprising bedfellows. The Civil Service mandarins are petrified what he may get Boris to, it’s an old boys club of the highest order and this strange little man not from the Oxbridge set scares them.
The media especially those on the left have no idea why they cannot reach “their” voters anymore and this strange bloke who came through the independent education sector suddenly understands the great unwashed far better than they do. The left do what the left do instead of trying to understand something, decry and shout it down and try to ban or muzzle it.
The old school “proper” tories hate him because he is not drifting them leftward he is driving them there.
I believe he has sussed that the working class (the vast majority of the country) is fiscally liberal but socially conservative. The labour party want them both to be liberal whilst the old school tories (UKIP leaning ) want it to be both conservative.
He is breaking moulds and it scares the lot of them.
To me he is a bloke who knew London was the epicentre of the virus up north to his family farm, hid for 14 days then on the way home had a look at a beauty spot on the way home and drove back to his home…..Its barely Fred West stuff.

Oh i dunno Jock.. every time Parlaiment goes into recess, everything carries on as normal. You could dissolve Parliament permanently. Elections are the myth that the public accept as inclusion.
The public is in constant outrage at the politicians, then go out and elect them.

We do however need to remove the organisation from the position of a publicly funded service provider. Need to get on with that as soon as the current crisis is behind us. This isn't about Dominic Cummings really, its about turning over this government. He's just provided the first step.

What others have done is irrelevant. We are talking about a person who played a significant part in drawing up the guidelines which he then broke and to make things worst gave a Prince Andrew type press conference which produced farcical explanations (driving a car to test his eyesight)
In any other place of work that would be considered gross misconduct which generally ends up in the person being sacked.
I voted for BREXIT and I have no left-wing agenda or any other reason for wanting him gone. He must go because he is a selfish cowardly b*stard who hid behind his child when he was found to have broken the lock down rules.

You don't have to have a TV licence unless you watch 'live' broadcasts or the BBC iPlayer. You aren't being forced.
1.The TV enforcement officer has no more right to enter your home than the school lollipop lady.
2. It requires a warrant from a magistrate and for that they need to have reasonable evidence of an offence being committed to get one. Saying that your address isn't on the database isn't evidence.
You will however be regularly pestered by a letter from Capita threatening you with a visit. (See 1.)
There, now you never need to watch or pay for the BBC ever again and you can stop moaning about them.
