90% of the pictures in newspapers and online are of london. 5% are south east seaside towns and the other 5% random pictures across the country.
London is acting like the rules do not apply and dragging the rest of the country down with them.
Most people are adhering to the rules but like Spain on the first day the rules are too open and if everyone chooses to go out after lunch places look packed and the tabloids jump on it.
People have tried really hard to stay home and are getting treated the same as the idiots in london is not fair
For the newspapers and sky news its a pretty boring "everyone switch over to Netflix" story if 99.9% of people adhere to the lockdown. There are 9 million in London with the fastest dropping of the death rate. I guess if i wait in one bottleneck for several hours to get the perfect photo of news report I will get what i want.
I am currently waiting for the uproar when Joe Public realised Bojo just took their 2 weeks overseas summer holiday from them unless you have very understanding bosses and they can accept another two weeks of government self isolation after your 2 weeks in Benidorm.
Well if your planning on going to France it's even more now - Happy Holidays !!!
Sounds like Emmanuel Macron not best pleased with Boris's plans for 14-day quarantine for people coming to the UK. Tells Boris in a phone call that France will introduce 'reciprocal' measures. So a day trip to Calais = 28 days in quarantine either side of the Channel
They have just announced its now exempt from quarantine rules
