All 4 nations should be working together - But are not - This is how more mixed messages are coming out .
Boris should have got together with the other 3 FM - to lay out what the plans are - But has not - until later today .
So whatever is said on Sunday - WALES - SCOTLAND - N.IRELAND - Can again do what they like on certain sectors .
Then there are the other parties Lab/Lbs etc who have not been told of the plans and will want their say .
UK PM to make Sunday evening address
Boris Johnson will deliver a public statement at 19:00 on Sunday on the "route out of lockdown", our political editor Laura Kuenssberg reports.
The statement is expected to give the UK a sense of what happens next, with some changes expected to come in on Monday in England.

Can you find something else to moan about. We are doing our best to cope with this covid19 nothing like it in my lifetime!
PS, Lets worry about unemployment when people stop dying

There are millions of self employed who will fall Into poverty and die of starvation , lose homes and have kids on the street if they do not work how many millions will die then ?
The government are doing nothing to help us and we have no choice but to work and risk our lives or starve and lose our homes.

Prime minister and first ministers hold call
Downing Street has issued a statement following a call between the prime minister and the first ministers of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
“During the call, the prime minister emphasised that this is a critical moment in the fight against coronavirus and that the government will not throw away the efforts and sacrifices of the British people," the statement says.
"He was clear that we will not risk a second peak that could overwhelm the NHS, and we will act with maximum caution in order to save lives.
“He reiterated his commitment to continuing our UK-wide approach to tackling coronavirus, even if different parts of the UK begin to move at slightly different speeds.
"Those decisions will be made based on the science for each nation."

Surely Annis, there is no kudos in this instance? You have proven nothing in reality,we all know boris is a pr@ck,the lockdown was weak from get go,it's no fun on here when it's covid related over and over the same subjects!at least I can say I had no part in boris being elected.if he decides to ease the lockdown, what are we supposed to do? I have been delivering again today, and there are definitely more people about, but in the 2 instances where I had to go into a store, people in the main, were still observing social distancing as best as they could! After all it was the MINORITY who were not obeying lockdown, probably 5/10%. Is it any different on mainland spain? No is the answer, hoardes of people in alicante and fuengerola totally ignoring the social distance rules, and if no police around, stopping and chatting to people they haven't seen for ages! Runners spitting on the pavements, cyclist's and runners in large groups! Enough to worry locals into staying indoors, and to complain about the possibility of a 2nd wave being a worry, and this is what 2 days into a relaxed lockdown!! Do I expect the same here, yes I do.when people have been penned up for weeks,it's an easy thing to forget rules, and to over relax, old habits die hard as the saying goes.if goverment officials are using the term "THE NEW NORMAL" ((Spain's leaders words) then some,in fact the majority of people will take a lot longer to adapt to it,if they even choose to.gradual relaxing has to happen,it's the timing of them that is crucial.I believe there are enough intelligent people on here,to get the picture,is what I am saying.if the public in any country decide to ignore the rules in place, then that country will be running the gauntlet of a 2nd wave happening, and then it's lockdown mk2.

The same old "posters" have a stake in this a direct threat to their families welfare, not some repeated mantra of how poorly the UK is doing. Quite frankly to those who are retired or well off then well done try and contextualize the existential economic threat now facing us. When the Bank of England warn of unprecedented economic carnage call me old fashioned I take note.My locality has a death rate per population of .00034 % , now balance that against the catastrophe of not getting the economy back to work and the hideous disaster that will ensue. This is NOT the Spanish Flu it is a nasty mutation of the corona virus. It will not wipe out towns and if bonehead Boris had had the intelligence or will to deal with this earlier we would not be in this position.Do not forget most of the so called experts are guessing as we speak.Personally I do not think in Wales we have the quality of AM to deal with this our first Minister looks like something out of a Harry Potter movie who has been dressed by a spiteful childless auntie. He has been banded around various ministries, a tired vacuous non entity who is not up to this.We have to start the economy up and get people back to work and please do not start about about social distancing -everyone on here has been to a supermarket it is a joke !!! God help us if we don't.

Well said. We are at the point now we have to get the economy going or this country will totally fall apart. That is a lot more dangerous than the virus for everybody.

Some People will be back in work next week and the coming weeks as this Gov or any other cannot pay 6.3 million people
80% of wage after June with a total cost of 8 Billion - it's not going to happen .
The target was 3 Million to start - then 9 Million was reported to be interested - they have got it down to 6.3 Million now.
People working from home will carry on - I see the trades /self employed - DIY - Garden centres - all back soon .
Slowly the above numbers have to come down - and this country needs to get back on it's feet .
Just wish all 4 nations were on the same page to move forward .

PM BORIS JOHNSON:
Unlimited excercise / why not just say NO lockdown as really for many anyway there never has been / Idiot

Looks pretty sensible to me, we have to get the economy going we can't keep paying furlough forever, and there has to be a gradual return to normal.
Stage one looks fine, I can't see any issues and we are almost at that stage now anyway.
Stage two, we have to get things moving and this is a good step forward.
Potentially from there on it looks a bit rushed, pubs and restaurants look especially optimistic for a return by August, but let's take it one step at a time and see how it goes, we can always stop or defer the stages.
We need to use common sense if people are obese, have high blood pressure, diabetes or heart conditions, or any other vulnerability they take extra care for themselves and their family.
Unlimited exercise
Common sense exactly my words for weeks, but many abused things before .
Then there is NO lockdown as it was bad enough before.
Oops Sorry there never has been a real lockdown
Barcelona are not lifting their lockdown why because there are still many people dying .
Are there still people not dying in their hundreds in the UK on a daily basics?
Ffs! It was the MINORITY Who were guilty of abusing the rules, now you use the word many? what's with the oops Annis? Thought you were bigger than this, look at spain (mainland) hoardes of morons on 2nd day of relaxed lockdown,in alicante and fuengerola, leaving residents fearful of going out, runners in groups, spitting on the pavements, large pods of cyclists, people totally ignoring social distancing laws there.you bang on about Barcelona nott relaxing their lockdown, due to many deaths still occurring there.so what about areas of the uk that have very few cases and deaths? Do they deserve further lockdowns? What about the damage being done in the UK, with many businesses going to go bust, furlough payments simply cannot be sustained for a long period,it will ruin the economy for decades. My sister, who is self employed,is facing severe hardship to say the least,as she also rents through the private sector, she has been told to go on to universal credit!! Small businesses need to start trading, and the sooner the better,or they will just fold! Everywhere in my opinion will experience the same.my 5 year old great niece will be paying for this! Maybe it won't happen as supposedly has been leaked,my poor 80 yes old mother has been in complete lockdown for 10 weeks now!! Whatever happens, this government has some serious questions to answer,100%.

I agree we are all human, but I see way more respect from youngsters to adults and more family life values over here .
That was partly why I moved here.

I agree. Stage 1 is no different to now....most don’t exercise anyway

N.Ireland first out to confirm -Another 3 weeks of lockdown over there -
Arlene Foster: 'Everything will stay as it is for next three weeks'
Arlene Foster says that so far as NI lockdown is concerned "everything will stay as it is" for the next three weeks.
"It's all to do with the famous R-0 number - the transmission of the virus," she told BBC Breakfast.
"Ours is about 0,8, 0.9 and we do not want to go above the number one again," she said.
However, she added that there could be “nuanced changes,” regarding extra outdoor exercise as a “nuanced change”.
"We will look and see if we can make minor adjustments within the three weeks," she said.
"We do of course recognise that we must give hope and early next week will be publishing our roadmap for the next few months," she added.

'R rate between 0.5 and 0.9'
The BBC's Ben Wright also asks about further data on how the R rate varies across the country.
The R rate is the reproduction number and is a way of rating a disease's ability to spread.
Our correspondent questions if it is the case that the R rate has to be universally low - across all four nations - before we can expect to see a significant lifting of the lockdown.
Prof Powis says he cannot give the data by region.
He says the R rate is somewhere between 0.5 and 0.9, and that it will "undoubtedly" vary from place to place.
He reiterates the importance of keeping the R rate below one.
So Prof Powis the same man with Valance who said if we keep deaths down to 20,000 we will have done well !!!
If he did his homework - Both Wales and N.Ireland gave the f' ing "R" in both countries today !!!
Along with a chart to how many will get infected if it went up by 0.1: 0.2 etc...
