Thanks Arri. Yeah, it got hard work for mum towards the end as he kept escaping the house in the middle of the night and falling over etc. But, he loved his visit to the pub and was a regular for many years in the Heath and the Crwys :)

Dementia is feckin aweful mate, you effectively lose them twice :( Condolences on the loss of you Mum. I'm strangely kinda glad that Covid took my Dad so quickly and spared him a few more years in a care home slowly fading away.

Mate I know the full weight dementia puts on families,my dad passed 2 1/2 years ago,and you are spot on,it is the worst thing in the world,as a family we managed to keep dad at home,until his passing,I have empathy with all those families who have a sufferer among them :sad7: football seems so fickle in the grand scheme of things. :ayatollah: :old: :bluebird:
