From what I’ve heard no british people wanted this work and this was a last resort. Don’t know how true this is. But if it is I wonder where all the people who say immigrants are stealing are jobs are currently in full time employment.

This narrative about British workers being too lazy to take up physical work does my head in. There are plenty of British workers earning a living in physically hard jobs such as construction, road or even grave diggers.

The real reason employers prefer foreign nationals is they are easier to exploit. No breaks, no holiday pay or other employment rights as generally they are unaware of them or reluctant in take advantage of them due to being summarily dismissed and never working again in the UK.

I sort of agree with him... but honest answer here. would you pay double for spuds that were picked by locals to the ones picked by Rumanians ?... to a point we are all to blame..
