Cardiff City tried to fight back tonight after going a goal down at home to Forest but couldn't get the equalising goal

They just fell short and it was another defeat, despite plenty of attempts on goal

Neil Harris made three changes with Dion Sanderson, Junior Hoilett and Robert Glatzel coming in

Nottingham Forest are fighting for automatic promotion this season

It was an even first half with chances for both sides but neither could find the breakthrough.

Forest took the lead early in the second half through Tiago Silva

Cardiff tried to bounce back but couldn't get the goal they needed

Glatzel came very close late on

Cardiff 0-1 Forest

I wonder if we were at the same game, I thought we were piss poor and probably deserved to loose by more!

Got what we deserved, nothing! Could still be playing now and we still wouldn’t have scored. Only positives for me was Glatzel played well, even though he had hardly any service and Ralls is coming back, also Sanderson did ok. Without Tomlin we have zero creativity.

We are much better at passing it out from the back but once we get passed the halfway line we look clueless and offer nothing. Our crossing is absolutely shocking - Even from dead-ball situations. What do they do in training? Sunday league players who have been on the piss all night are capable of sticking better crosses in. Seems we either can’t beat the first man or the ball is too long.

As Zodiak reminds everybody from time to time, Vincent will not be spending money. Quite what he wants the club for is another matter. But it’s a waste of time slagging off Neil Harris or the players, other than for an exercise in self soothing. They are just VTs employees.

At this rate, we could be looking at League 1 in the not too distant future :banghead:

A draw would’ve papered over the cracks. We might’ve had a pen, but also Murphy might’ve been stronger on his feet and got a shot off. The stats say we had shots on target but can anyone remember their keeper pulling off a good save? Hoilett runs a lot without going anywhere. I won’t single out Murphys free kick that went low and slow to the first defender because most of our deliveries were shit. Shocking from Championship pros. How about once in a while we don’t throw a long throw in into the box after allowing them to set up defensively only for their defence to win the second ball and clear the danger?
