None of them are gagging to join anyone. Football is a business like any other. A job is a job and most will go where the money takes them.
I expected us to sign a striker. Wether that striker is a lower league gamble or a loan from a premier league side. We should have signed one as we lost 3 this window alone.
Also a midfielder/playmaker to compete with Tomlin. He wont last the season like he is he will burn out.

The last thing we needed was 2 full backs. Adomah could be great but looking at his current form he is more likely to flop

Signing players for any club in the positions clubs requires is so easy in January it's like picking apples off a tree! Even spurs man u ect had trouble getting players why should championship be any different? Perhaps people complaining would preferred we didnt sighn anyone so couldn't complain we made poor signings?

I don't feel as if I have been treated like a mug. I wasn't expecting much because Tan has made his intentions clear. He has told us plenty of times his ambitions for the club, and has also told us that he has no intentions of pumping the cash into the club in the way he has previously done. I never expected for one minute we would be bringing in many players, even our manager told us there was no money available. This window has gone almost exactly as I expected it to go, and as I have said previously, we know which league we will be playing in next season, so hopefully we may see a bit of wheeling and dealing in the Summer.

Agree it’s not been a great window ...with the exception of Peltier , happy with the outs but will have to see how the signings go....not exactly exciting as we all can see we need a creative midfielder to start with

Its pretty obvious that the board have written of any ambition for this season not anywhere near the top 6 at xmas, and 12th now

i fear the board are still wrapped up in the sala affair
with memhets announcement on deadline day about sala fund etc ,the only sad thing is the attendances are going to drop off along with the hope and atmosphere, and its not the vision we where told when i bought my season ticket i will carry on enjoying the remainder of the season but would have enjoyed a lot more if we where giving it a bloody good go and going to do a burnley like we where told from the the then manager and board.

I'm not anti Harris at all. Yes he was not who I wanted but we've got him now and to be honest hes done ok so far.
He and the transfer committee have had 3 months to find the players we need to improve. I never expected premier league players but I expected us to strengthen whether in quality or numbers in the 2 positions we are desperately needing. The players are there you just have to look and have the right contacts which obviously Harris doesnt.
We have a great chance of play offs THIS season and they have just thrown it away by not taking the window seriously.

You have to also question what someone like Cameron Coxe thinks aswell. Hes been working hard to get his chance and we bring in a kid who has never played a single professional game as back up over him.

IMO its not a bad window. We got rid of a few player we didn't need or want and didn't let the manager buy anyone (it's not a time to buy anyway)

(Again IMO) this squad has no chance of promotion and the board realised that reality when Warnock left. So we are not left with a squad of all sorts that doesn't equate to a winning team.

I have seen nothing that suggests Harris is the guy for the rebuild, he can't set a team up to win a game, he has to make mega changes at H/T to make amends. He is being out coached game after game. In two years time he'll be out of the game.

We no longer pay the large wages of Niasse, Arter and Camarasa. We also sold multiple high earners this season like Zahore for £8million.

People said the same on here for the last windows. Bacuna turned out decent. Nelson one of our better CBs. Gavin whyte good player. Vaulks good player etc. All of these players where criticised before even being given a chance!!!

Everyone is too quick to stick the knife in. Who cares what league or level they come from as long as they turn out good.

I am excited about the new lads with competition for place and a bit of experience.

Parachute payments are designed to pay the wages of players as you drop a division.
Since last season we have got rid of Gunnarsson, Arter, Camarasa, Niasse, Reid, Peltier, Madine, Harris, Manga and Bogle.
That is over 150k a week saved probably a lot more.
We have also received over £17million in transfer fees since relegation. Add that to the £50million first season parachute payment and the reported £102million for being in the premier league last season.

And your telling me we cant afford better than what we got this January ? Laughable if you believe that.

Seriously what 3 players would you have liked us to sign this window I wasnt expecting us to spend anything fee wise so im not shocked . My worry is the summer when we need a big overhaul what money will be available then I'd have thought 6-8 needed

What did you expect this transfer window? The club owner has made his intentions clear. The manager told us there was no money to spend. The transfer window has gone exactly as many fans expected.
