Recently, more often or not it's Cardiff fans on here who bring his name up - this topic being proof of that.

You know he's on here so you can't really expect to say something and for him not to react - just the same with every other poster on here.

or you and the mode could come to a solution and make it harder to sign up with new accounts or your probably gonna end up losing the loyal posters to the other Cardiff forum as there roathie never gets in.

As I said, all the people who complain about Roathie are the ones who encourage him.

I never do but it's very irritating he's never gonna get banned properly though is he because he's good for hits but honestly you will start to lose good posters and it's sad really

I have had plenty of arguments with him on here, and a lot have been my own fault for getting drawn into his silly debates. Problem I find is that he often starts off sensibly under a new name, posters reply thinking they are having a discussion with a normal person, and then he reverts to becoming the forum idiot again. Had several of his user names on ignore, but with him using so many it is possible to get caught out. I have decided that when it becomes obvious that he is in one of his 6 page arguments, I will avoid posting and just read the threads that I think have not become infested by his moronic rants.

Even I have to agree with that...and my disdain for the character we refer to as 'Roathy' is clear to all

The boys are wrong on this one Sven, as just ignoring him just isn't possible when he pops up from different angles.

I ignored him for ages, I never engaged with him, however he will still ruin threads by posting utter drivel and proclaiming it as gospel fact, even if you don't respond to him he will still often reply to people's posts looking to belittle them with his warped view and how he is right and everyone else is wrong.

Far, far to any people have and are complaining about him over the years for the issue to be anything other than him.

The fact is Cardiff fans on here often start the conversation. Roathie replys because he has a right to reply. What happens then is some complain about him being on the forum.

So it seems some people are happy to say what they like about Roathie, but as soon as there's a response they say it's unacceptable.

A lot of the time some of the biggest topics on here can be about Swansea, and I for one believe its good to get the Swansea view of it.

It is not a swansea view though is it, it is his view. It is how he acts anyway that is the issue, not what he says. People with different views (including jacks) are perfectly capable of having discussions on here without the issues. As soon as he gets involved the entire thread turns into how he is right and everyone is wrong.

You are right though, certain people continuously bring him up in different threads - pretty much inviting him in. Everyone should just completely ignore it and not give it the attention it craves.

He uses proxies think that bypasses need to keep changing email addresses.. that's why keep banning names but that doesn't work for obvious reasons.. only definitive way to stall him is to just ignore what he posts but easier said than done as got names lined up ready to takeover the thread when no one responds 5o him!

The man doesn’t actually do anything worthy of a ban so to be a coward and sanction it is not easy from a decent bloke, but sometimes it’s easier for a quiet life from all the crying that goes on within the forum. That’s probably it in a nutshell.

People are ruining this forum themselves Annis.

Ned is absolutely spot on as you say. If people are slagging me off then I have right of reply, it’s cowardly to think otherwise.

People can ignore my posts easily enough if they don’t want to read them or lack the self restraint not to respond but we all know it’s not about my posts, because my posts are well thought out, inoffensive and fair.

The issue is them feeling like they can get some kind of win if I am banned. Not being able to read my posts doesn’t matter to them, they are unable to drag me down into a slanging match or control my response and mood like they can with others - so this way they feel they have an element of control.

The fact I refuse injustice bannings makes them even more furious.

Ignore the username and stop whinging, it’s a football forum. If you are offended about someone having an opinion then a football forum is probably the wrong place for you.

Usually the pattern of posting on here is that I post, people tell me I am wrong and I explain why I am not.

Maybe what you mean is that people want to get the better of a Swansea fan who has good solid points and are sick and tired of the fact he is able to back up his posts well? That sounds more in keeping with the situation.
