NW won a replay away against Mansfield and we drew Man City Home in the 4th Round. NH with only two defeats and 18 points from 36 does definetely needs the fans to cut him some slack, Slade Mark 2? I will judge him more on his incoming and outgoing in this window and then the story truly unfolds. NW didn't get the City as wound up this season against the Jerks that's for sure after our pathetic preformance at the Libty Lilabity Staduim. A draw at St Andrews is respectable bring on some home wins. Shame to see Ward and Tomlin looking a bit worse for wear after their substitutions. NH is ok with me atm. BLUEBIRDS!

I get we have a poor squad but I'm still not sold on Harris if I'm honest. And even though I agree this team needs a massive overhaul whoever is manager, i find it difficult to believe that Neil Harris will ever be the manager to get us into the top 6 next season or get us playing decent football. This very much has a Russell Slade feeling to it, where I dont think we'll ever be in danger of going down under him but I just cant see us becoming a good side under him.

Neil Harris is doing a great job and fans need to be patient.

He deserves a lot of praise today.

Good to have a manager who is capable of changing a match.

I agree that fans should give NH more credit for the job he has done since he joined the club and let's face it so far he has lost just 2 games taking 18 of the 36 available points. Under NH we have also won two away games which seemed unimaginable under NW. Winning an FA Cup match is also more than NW managed.

It's not NH fault that he has inherited a squad which includes approx £15m spent on forwards who let;s face would struggle to score in a knocking shop.

Let's ALL cut NH some slack.

Totally agree

I agree. Our results under Harris are better than first half of season with someone else's badly assembled unbalanced sqaud of misfits all earning more money than they ever have before.

Neil Harris has no say in the incomings and out goings in this or any other transfer window that’s why he is Slade 2.0

On that one point you are correct,he (Warnock ) didn't say that when he arrived, but I distinctively remember him uttering those very words when he left :? Saying the squad he left were capable of promotion, didn't see many posts regarding that though  well if that were true, why the f@ck did he walk/leave/sacked?? He knew he had rinsed them by getting the most out of them for promotion, and physically drained (the ones still here!) The guts out of them, trying to avoid relegation. So it was him who was talking b@locks,but because Harris has said the squad is good,in a manner which befits his job,he gets vilified for it,what was he supposed to say? "Well I had this lot down as being able to actually play better football, how wrong I was!,Neil Warnock has left me a squad of dummies" of course he is going to big up his squad, hardly likely to name and shame is he? But I suppose some fans would f refer that? :old: :bluebird:

Spot on. Really not sure what some people expect. Whatever Harris may think of the footballing ability of individuals he ain't going to spill when a microphone put in front of him after 90 minutes of football. He tried to big up Madine presumably in an attempt to motivate the player and weeks later he is out the door.

I agree.

Start of the season Warnock was saying this was the best chamionship squad he'd had.

I fully agree with this very sensible post.

Whatever NH failings his half-time talks are becoming legendary as we seem to be able to fight back into games from hopeless positions with 2nd half turnarounds, Leeds being the pick of the bunch. It also shows that the manager is bold enough to switch to Plan B when Plan A doesn't work.

The criticism of how we start games and give the opposition head starts is valid and needs to be sorted out but we are in transition and patience as you say is required.
