Fair enough. I would be happy personally, if Murphy, Vassell, Flint & Jazz went in this window and we brought in a quality midfielder and defender in. Then look at the targets (proven goal scorer at least) he wants for the summer, get them NO excuses and let those who want to leave, leave.

The January window always tends to favour the selling or loaning clubs as many of the buying clubs need an extra player or two to make the playoffs or avoid relegation etc and there is a slight sense of desperation.We are not in that position as there is no chance of us being relegated and very little chance of making the playoffs. We should not be wasting money in this window.

The rest of the season is a good chance for Harris to try out different players and formations to see what works and who to keep next season. I would say give a few youth team players a go too but to be honest there is as usual probably no one there capable of playing at this level.Now he has come back from Wrexham our best youth team player is probably Mark Harris and he was dropped by crap Wrexham after a good start.

The only thing that is going to make this not a crap Slade season is a decent cup run.
