City wont get that much then what? get rid of one of other surplus keepers for nothing ! We would not suffer if smithies was in goal as yesterday showed.... we need money from sales and released players to invest tan as said this so Etheridge going is perfect for doing so.

Really no brainer even if dont have confidence in ward it still better to cash in on Etheridge than get rid of smithies for nothing which will still leave ward here as back up.

Ward?? Don't you me day as cover? Unless ward can play in goals of coursewhilst I was initially against us selling our best players,I do think Smithies is a good keeper at this level,and if we are to get anything like 8m then it has to be now? But I do wonder if we will price them out of another bid,which could prove a costly error imho.
