We ain't going up or down so let's keep the money and spend it next season
There is some merit in that; but strangely we are still in touch with the top 6 and for that reason alone it's surely worth a punt at strengthening what we know to be a pretty stagnant squad right now?

I understand City are in the mix so to say, but we were to spend and get in the play offs then get promotion i dread to think how many players and money it would take to actually make a fist of it in the PL. It could ruin us as it has other clubs.
Personally id take a little stability right now and get rid of the rubbish we have in the squad

Yep, hard to disagree but this club benefitted greatly from our brief but fortuitous sojourn into the Premier League last time out and a similar outcome this season (no matter how unlikely) just might see this club sort all its finances and put us on the steady, self-sufficient footing both owner and responsible supporters want to see?
Norwich have done it and (IMHO) they are no 'bigger' club than we are!

I wouldnt turn the opportunity down of course of a return to the PL, and its not impossible as wasnt Villa around 15th place at Christmas last season.
Difficult and strange times at CCS

At the moment we are stuck with what we have got, and there a re many who are not up to it, ffs give the man a break.
So how many games do you give him before you expect to see at least a slight change in play ?
Any change at all because so far if anything we have got worse at what we did with Warnock. It's awful and I would have expected to see some kind of change by now in our play.

Well I’ve only seen the last two games under Harris as the manager but I can see quite a clear difference in the change of play compared to Warnock’s style.
Yes, it’s awful.
Yes, it’s not exciting or creative.
And yes, it’s boring and there’s little improvement but there’s definitely a different style.
With regards to Etheridge, if he’s constantly kicking it long then that’s down to the managers instructions. You can’t blame him for not passing short as the players all run away so they’re all, obviously, under orders.
He actually threw a ball out to a player (can’t remember who) in the last game which resulted in a quick attack and a near miss!

Whether it’s loans or we can move players on to generate some cash which ever way we need as a minimum 3/4 players.
Today is the one day of the season you have a chance to attract the fair weather supporter but after watching us today and you had the misfortune of watching the Preston game you wouldn’t be rushing back it’s painful to say the least and that’s being kind.
