I’m not blowing anything out of anywhere, I’m simply stating facts backed up by copy and pastes of my posts at the time.

If I were you lot, my concern wouldn’t be me getting frustrated by why and how I foresaw it. My concern would be why didn’t anyone at the club foresee it.

If I were to give an educated guess I would say they probably did. But Tan has too many ‘yes men’. Let’s not forget (or many may not even know) Vincent Tan is not very educated, I think he dropped out of school at 14 or 15 and only got to a platform where he could invest because he bought half a McDonalds for 40k. That has allowed him to make mistake after mistake and still make money, that’s what money in business allows you to do.

People think because Tan is a multi millionaire then whatever he says is right. Couldn’t be further from the truth. He has made horrendous judgement call after horrendous judgement call in this sector.

1) rebranding the club completely unaware of football culture (as I said at the time)
2) the wasted time and money on the Malky case (kept my powder dry but suspected it would be fruitless)
3) the wasted time and money trying to wriggle out of the Langston debt
4) the wasted time and money on the Sala case (as I said at the time)
5) the refusal to have a succession plan in place after relegation (as I said at the time)

People point to Tans business background as to how he must know more than anyone else. Nonsense. How many successful profitable sports businesses has he been involved in? The answer is none, they have all lost vast amounts of money and his personal wealth declined as a result.

If you make your fortune in one industry it doesn’t mean you can transition into another. It’s like David Beckham going to play professional tennis and people saying “he must be better than the world number 50, compare how much they have made in sport, Becks has made way more”.... as Becks then goes on to lose 6-0 6-0

Of course there was a conversation. Many conversations, all regarding exactly what I have just said and continues to be discussed. In fact, this is the reason Sven now feels he needs to ban me at any given opportunity because I am snow able to prove that all of those things he disagreed with and called me a troll over, I was right all along. There continues to be discussions on this subject to this day, this thread is me making the point that the attitude shown every time I post is only going to end up making you look silly as time proves me right.
