Jazz a waste of time. Whoever sanctioned his new contract should be sacked. If his contract runs to June we have no option but to see that out.
Warnock didn't sign Peltier. He was already here. Manga became his first choice and Peltier only played when Manga was needed to play in his best position CB.
Warnock failed to sign a RB. Closest we are aware he got was Clyne and Warnock didn't like that.
Its an abject failure not to have recruited a RB for now 6 windows?

I think its a case of wishful thinking... he most definitely can play football and if fit and interested is good enough at this level.. Trollope thought he could getting him playing, Warnock maybe should have cut his loses. but where do you get someone as decent as him free ? anyway our new manager seems to be going down the same route of hoping to succeed where others failed.. and being new is not really an excuse as Jazzs record is there to be looked at. but its very very frustrating having decent players that for whatever reason you can not pick
Im not sure when his contract was extended but WoL said it was this summer, to me last summer was the obvious time to bring in a property first choice right back and still have Peltier for this season as back up.
If he could stay fit he would be first choice no doubt but a bit like players like Ward you can never trust them to stay fit for long periods.
I think a lot of fans expected to see a RB come in at the start of the season. Warnock tried to sign a defender on loan at the start of the prem season but it didnt happen. 2 transfer windows later we still havnt got anyone in....
he tried to sign and loan a number of right backs. who was going to sign for nailed on relegation candidates..?
the whole Sala transfer which we know far more about than we would normally do I think showed how difficult it was/is to sign players . but this year playing a level down ? pelts is not the worse youll see and with Jazz apparently fit It should have been less of an issue..
Arter, camarasa and Niasse signed on loan and Reid, Murphy and Cunningham signed permanently? Despite that we would likely be relegated. I find it hard to believe that there wasnt a single half decent RB that would sign for us when we had prem status. We played majority of the prem season with an out of position CB playing at RB so you would have thought it would have been made a priority before next window. A RB still wasnt brought in at the start of this year either despite that we knew Manga was going and having all summer to identify players. Pelts is a solid defender but offers very little going forward. He also doesnt have a great injury record either. Jazz's injury record is an absolute joke so relying on him would have been stupid. Fair enough missing your targets on one but 2 more windows as well? We've got 4 senior keepers in our squad at the moment. Warnock played one striker yet we have Madine, Ward, Bogle, Glatzel and Vassel on our books. It is bad recruitment at the end of the day
Arter...was told early on he was surplus at Bournemouth and waited for a better offer until the last day before signing.
Camarasa..admitted he wasn't keen at all and his girlfriend talked him around..
Niasse...nowhere near the Everton team and poor..
the other 3 were championship players hoping to make a go at the prem... we were lucky to get the 1st 2 , the club tried to get quite a few that just did not happen..
pelts injury prone ?
Exactly. There will always be players not in a teams plans who are looking to play regular football and there are always players who will jump at the opportunity to be playing in a league above. Whatever reasons you want to give, we need cover at RB as the problem has not been addressed for a few seasons now.
cover ?
lets be honest buying players for cover at our club is a real quick way to get fans moaning...many of our fans don't accept the idea of squad players.. and really how many decent right backs are there in this league better than who we have who are not playing for top half clubs already ..
and not exactly . signing 2 players not keen to come here , on deadline day when they have not much option doesn't prove how easy it is...we ended up taking who was prepared to come.
you make it sound so easy. but that's not how Dalman and 2 or 3 managers have described it..but eh oh..
Now who is arguing the poster and not the issue?haha. Signing a rb would mean we would have cover in that position yea, as we would have two players who could play there....as apposed to one. Peltier is 33 and offers very little going forward. Are you seriously saying that he is one of the best RB’s in the championship/league 1? I Never said it was easy to sign anyone but the issue has been there for years now and still hasn’t been sorted. Hasn’t stopped us signing keepers and strikers though has it? Currently have 9 players (all Warnock signings btw) playing for 2 positions. The squad is massively unbalanced.

Jazz Richards, imho, is one of the reasons NW departed in the manner that he did. I said One of the reasons,,,, there were many more. NH has stated that changes have to be made in January, and the playing squad trimmed back,,, well I for one know where to start!

Rick+CCFC Do you mean that Warnock tired of Jazzs treatment room stays or that the club not happy player had another contract when injured?

but we have...after Bolton turned down our madine offer we moved on to other targets..failed and ended up pating them what they wanted..and we also tried numerous strikers after the sala crash..
not sure why people want to not believe whats been said many times by various managers... really
