their successes have mostly come against sides that roll it out and play from the back.. equally their defeats have come against long ball.. I know what you were getting at though..I think... we were so open and loose Saturday ?
bit surprised Madine isn't starting as a target. but Ward scoring with I think his first touch has forced harris hand ?

Overall not playing too bad imo. Brentford just a very quick team and are just much faster than us. Would be good if NML woke up though.

Mendez Laing is awful tonight. They are ripping us apart on the right. Dare I say it we miss Madine tonight to hold the ball up. Ward is offering little. We need to sustain the ball in their half better.

Like I said just the wrong team for us to play at the moment we are not built for it

Played off the park, played it long to Ward, meat and drink to Brentfords centre halves.
Add wingers who cant beat a man this evening and keep giving away possesion.
And add no energy, we look like a team of over 40,s playing against a youth team

Pack looking like he's the only one who can pass? He's been the furthers midfielder back with no pressure on him passing it STRAIGHT to their attacker causing us to be countered. He's hit the ball out of play from an easy medium pass twice too. What on earth are you watching? He's a liability, but that doesn't mean he's the only one.

I think we can be happy it’s only 1 at half time. Hopefully NML will get it together and dare I say it but Madine at some point early in the 2nd half if things don’t change. At least we will have an outlet to hold the ball up and play it on. Not out of it yet
