The game has once again just settled down. Stoke just getting a little more of a foothold in it, but the Bluebirds still with the lead.

Madine, just four yards out, gets a toe on it but Jack Butland makes a wonder-save!

No change in style of play real lack of energy in the side considering first home game under a new manager

Lee Gregory beats Aden Flint in the air and it falls into Joe Allen’s path, but Curtis Nelson makes a superb block to deny the Welshman.

Flint started bright then gone down hill. Also is it me or is Hoilet not interested?

We had 2 sweet build ups, one leading to a goal.

Flint was beaten on a few occasions, that would be the next change I expect Harris to make, swap Flint for Morrison, probably not tonight but maybe the in next game or two

A solid half, Flint probably the only one who’s had a stinker. Hoilett hasn’t been quite at the races but his defensive duties have been good. I’m liking Tomlin and Madine as the attacking two, and it’s nice to see us actually playing it to Madine’s feet so he can bring the midfielders and wingers in to play. Great play by him for the goal too.

I feel the team is just completely lacking in pace and flair it’s crazy to think we have gone up from champ and down and ended up with such a stale squad

Our lack of cohesion and shoddy defence will be tested tonight I just can’t see them getting a clean sheet at present so going for a 0-1 / 1-2 score line. Love to be proved wrong but we aren’t playing no reserves tonight like at the weekend unfortunately

Charlton were without 2 regular starters,stop banging on about so called "reserves" well there goes your 0-1 prediction eh at least you have your back up 1-2
