Usual sound bites to me. I want to see footballers play football, not ‘have a go’. Aren’t they supposed to do that anyway..
Quite worrying considering he’s the boss..

'have a go' is football parlance for attacking football. Harris said he wanted us to be 'aggressive' and push high up the pitch. We might see a very different style emerge over the coming months.

Be interesting to see what he’s going to do about the Academy and getting youth into the first team.

I’d agree if a Manager had a reputation for playing attacking football..

Good interview, admits he made a mistake whilst here so that's done and dusted, really like the bit about sorting the academy out.
Welsh for the night
Good luck.

Sounds like he’s been tipped off about our fans worry of hoofball again with certain things he’s said during this interview, there’s no question the fans will get behind him to start with, my main worry is that we’re going to struggle in the transfer market again and end up with more driftwood within the squad. Only time will tell though

Hope he does well but I think hes going to be shocked how much work is needed
With all respect Thomas, surely he knows what's needed

I don't expect miracles in first 5/6 games from any manager really,at least he will bring in fresh ideas, new training methods etc,I wasn't over enamoured when he was announced, but it's a new chapter now, let's all get behind him and the boys, together stronger.

I know the media asked him about it a few times but he did talk a lot about the academy and there needing to be a pathway for them, and mentioned the need for younger players, so I do wonder if the board have told him that its an important criteria for them to begin to see youth players come through over the next couple of years.

That's a good first press conference for Harris.
Hope he can prove many wrong.
Hard work starts on Saturday.

He actually said' I know fans want to see players play like the fans would if they were on the pitch' Not sure why the reporter decided to water it down.

That’s even more ridiculous. Does he know what he’s saying at all...

Why would he know what is needed before actually getting here and meeting the squad.
All he will know are the players by name and reputation. Its o ly when you actually work with them or see them week in week out that you get to know the strengths and weaknesses

you might be surprised he actually did far better at millwall than he's been given credit for' that became part of the problem expectations have risen keeping millwall in the championship is an achievement on an absolute shoestring , most millwall fans didn't want him to go the chairman tried to talk him out of it , he's a decent man and a good man manager and I wish him and Cardiff all the best

He may be younger than Warnock but not as successful. This is Tan’s choice with no ambition. It was Tan’s position to appoint Russel Slade. Tan should go !

Good stuff off the pitch so deserves time to get it going on the pitch ....interesting that the view in talk sport is that he is more direct in footy style that Warnock !!
That’s a nightmare thought and will only be tolerated if we win ....Give him total support and let’s all kick on together...playoffs push starts tomorrow
