I tend to agree with others on here that it looks like the club are planning for a 3 window transfer ban as all of the other managers mentioned would have asked for money in Jan to push for promotion.

If they are planning that, we will go further backwards .

He won't be found wanting for effort.This is easily his biggest job.Welcome aboard gaffer.

No doubt the cheapest option again. The club is happy to float around the championship. Give him a chance and see what happens. If he doesn't step up to the mark and the football doesn't improve then don't go to the stadium.

I like to think I'm a positive person (when it comes to Cardiff City) My glass is always nearly full, some on here don't even have a glass .
I will be 100% behind Neil Harris , I really don't know much about him TBH.

But it's a clean slate and a fresh start, for all the players
At least he shouldn't have any favourite's and the team should be picked on merit (hopefully).

Who knows our form may pick up, perhaps the coaching by NW, KB and RJ was getting stale ?

Maybe Neil Harris and his staff may have new ideas and tactics ?

All we can do is support the team and new manager, and at least give him a little time.

Here is what a mate of mine said, decent bloke, genuine Millwall fan pretty knowledgeable.

Not sure mate to be honest. His style is to allow opponents to have possession and then counter attack. He had very little money at Millwall to be fair. He likes a small tight knit squad but again this could have been due to financial constraints. He does give youth a chance and wants all team ages to play same brand of football. He has not cost anything to bring in and could be a good fit for Cardiff. Give him a go.


Sounds like a poor mans Warnock to me, but may give some of the youngsters a chance.

No vision with this appointment.... but best of luck to him....no commitment to a premier league push by the sounds of it ...hope he proves me wrong

You dont plan for something that wont happen unless you think club wants to be relegated and just use academy players? Tan maybe cutting costs but cutting his own throat certainly is not in his plans....
