I've not heard any 'Warnock out' chants at home games, never heard any anti Warnock singing either just a few boo's because we lost two important derby games.

I dont read the Fakebook crap so cant speak for that nonsense. I was one who wasnt adverse to him leaving now or at the end of the season but with a manager who could take us in a different direction/style. If it is Harris then I dont think he will achieve that.

I can tell you for a fact that the board were not happy with him but though.

it was 80% wanted him out and not 80% of half a dozen either and SM was worse...on here thread after thread with more inaccurate negative facts than Jeremy and boris added together...
Warnock said many times...they love me there...and...if it soured he would know and not wait for the sack...the love/togetherness seemed to have gone, it was souring, and a bloke in his 70s that really doesn't need to prove anything to anyone let alone at this club left...

We were going backwards under warnock. This wasn’t a bad run of games, it was a third of season and nothing was changing. The board were unhappy with his spending and the performances and results were very poor. That is nothing to do with the fans, that’s down to Warnock himself. The appointment of Harris, if true, is nothing to do with the fans either. The majority of people on this forum don’t want him.

It’s not just this season, give him any money to spend and it appears wasted, from madine on none of the big buys have worked out have they?

Deffo not hounded in the terraces but was online but it was inevitable that any replacement would be a very cheap option but I am guessing this is down to the Sala legal situation. The comment we want 35 shots a match, well you ain’t going to get that with Harris he is just a poor mans Warnock. I do agree with you though that the lack of footballing knowledge at the club is stopping us moving forward. I wanted us the go in a different direction as well, as did a lot of fans. I’ll get behind Harris but I dont think he is going to give us that as I can’t see his style of football changing that much.

Sorry to say the man should have done this at the end of last season with his head held high but no it was dragged out for the first few months of this season I'm sorry but the football has been atrocious for large parts and it's been awful highlighted with the Jack's match first derby in years and we played that badly sorry but the writing was on wall then that all wasnt well and neil harris I'm sorry but if hes appointed that's the club going for a slade cheap option when the club could have pulled the stops out moved for neil jokanovic hughton bowyer but no the club looks as if the safe option is the way forward that isn't the fans faults at all

It is definitely time for the board to get more football experience and knowledge in the boardroom. They struck lucky with Neil, who delivered almost immediately but without a well-conceived plan to take the club forward now NW has gone, there will be rocky times ahead.

With regards to NW himself, realistically he was only going to to be here for another 6 months so I have no issue with him going now. It is unlikely even with him at the helm that we would have made the play-offs. The football being played is dire, we have just had two insipid performances in local derbies and the man himself seems to have lost his mojo and enthusiasm. Yes he is a character and he will never be forgotten by the fans but time moves on.

Unfortunately, it appears that no forethought has been given to his successor and that does give grounds for the fans to vent their spleen. I really don't understand why the board don't seem to have a progressive bone in their collective bodies. The fans and the club deserve more.

Once again it’s the lack of football knowledge and judgement At board level that is the root cause here. Clearly Harris is not wanted by a huge majority of us. And by the board ignoring that they are playing a dangerous game. They are sending a message saying “we don’t care what you think”. These messages, mixed or not, cause divide and disillusionment just like the rebrand. We can either get our voices heard and vote with our feet and stay away, vote with our anger and boo the manager or the board, or try and find another way, push to get a place on the board just to get our preferred collective choices heard in the boardroom. I don’t know? I just want them to put together a realistic poll for fans to put together, Harris won’t be on there. He was never mentioned. Just to be considered would be something. Look at his CV, look at Millwall fans comments, Neil Harris isn’t attacking, won’t give you lots of shots, and isn’t lauded by his own fans who call him a legend as a player. However he isunattached, cheap and young. The only reasons I can see in this bland contradiction of an appointment.

I don't buy into the "hounded out" nonsense to be honest,the time was coming,where if improvement didn't materialise, fans would have been more vociferous against him,if city had not been searching for his successor, I would have been upset to say the least,who knows,they may not have started looking,and that would be unacceptable to many fans,but to boo the manager,whoever it turns out to be,is not acceptable imo,I will back whoever takes charge,and will reserve judgement until we see what results are,I'm not saying the appointment, if it turns out to be Harris, is my preferred choice,but when,except very rarely do clubs actually listen to us fans,and what our choice of manager we want. we just have to suck it and see.

It was a lot who turned against Warnock. He reads the message boards. He said he would go when it started to turn and it started to turn. A poll clearly showed that.

Bristol City and Millwall recently was some of the best football played all season so it was turning.

But don’t worry. The record for this regime is every 4 managers they get one that works so in three managers time we will get someone good.

A run that never materialised and tbh never would have under NW and he knew that !

Personally I can’t see the problem. Neil Warnock wanted another contract before the end of last season, and he got one. He then came out and publicly said that it was going to be his last (here)... He wasn’t given any real funding last summer,,,, and after all, why should he?.. However, even before the Swansea/ Bristol City debacles, he was openly wishful of managing an Edinburgh club whenever. By then, all the Fighting talk and rhetoric about an instant return to the Premiership, all the stronger, all the Better for our experiences, just like one or two other clubs had achieved,,, had evaporated after a dozen or so games in which, quite frankly,,, we looked nothing like a “Warnock” team, but more Like a Trollope team that he was brought in to change.

Let’s not be naive, or blinkered. The writing was on the wall,,, NW was more than experienced to know this.

I will always respect Neil Warnock for the way he took our club forward,,,, this is his strength. Unfortunately, his limitations in the transfer markets led to his eventual downfall at Cardiff City FC, that, and other puzzling things like contracts given out to players who were continually “injured” or sick... It makes you think....

And on the other side of the coin,one bad run away from the relegation spots.I felt it was the right time for Neil to go,and voiced my opinion after the swansea game,but no way do I feel I have contributed to his "hounding out" those who are making personal attacks on him personally, have a lot more to be ashamed of imho.

Not sure mate to be honest. His style is to allow opponents to have possession and then counter attack. He had very little money at Millwall to be fair. He likes a small tight knit squad but again this could have been due to financial constraints. He does give youth a chance and wants all team ages to play same brand of football. He has not cost anything to bring in and could be a good fit for Cardiff. Give him a go!
