If there is only one team in path a (Iceland) then the three highest ranked teams in nations league b go into path a. However teams who won their nations league group cannot be moved into a higher path so even though someone previously on the thread said we could get Denmark in the playoffs we can't as we're guaranteed to be in path a.

if four or more teams from a league enter the play offs, a path with four teams from the league in question must be formed..
if there are more than 4 a draw will take place to decide which 4 will participate in the play off of that league.
remaining teams will be drawn in the path of a higher league...

Simples!all I could get from that explanation is draw on 22nov and Wales will play at home I think in one off game...
much depends on the Denmark v ROI game to night as to who we play should we not win.
ROI win and we play Denmark away in a one off semi. that's certain.
ROI lose or draw we are defo home... but against who is more complicated..

if we draw with Hungary and Slovakia beat Azerbaijan....we play ROI HOME
we draw with Hungary ...and Slovakia draw or lose with Azerbaijan....we play Slovakia...HOME
we lose to Hungary and it becomes irrelevant how Slovakia do .. we play Slovakia HOME

Yes especially with home advantage.. if playing Ireland we are at home according to news as for other teams god knows but still think we are at home due to rankings? Let's hope my .misfortune since 73 comes to end and we win a winner takes all game for 1st time...

Yep all the way back to 77! I was in town lunchtime with the Mrs,were loads of Hungary fans,was talking (mostly hand gesticulating ) and as true as I'm alive,I told them 2-0 to wales,and started to rub my eyes in a crying motion, they understood,and burst out laughing,good banter,but would love to see them again,to see their faces

73 for me and was at Anfield for the scots game ! I actually had my scarf from that game on last night for good luck as never worn it since 77....
