It's not inspiring if this is true. would have loved the club to move for maybe alex neil hughton jokanovic . after warnock going and everything he had done and achieved you would have thought the club would have pulled out the stops to get the big name in obv not sounds like club writing this season off already seems a safe appointment for the club

id much prefer a young manager who has had one job , made a success of it and is now moving up the ladder .
than the much better out there ,sacked a dozen times , on big wages , want to spend zillions , who know they have peaked and now looking for a jolly. this fella reached the play offs twice and then got effing millwall up to 8th without the money sam threw at Lennie, cork and whoever else..

Regarding Posts on Mark Hughes getting the Job. If Mark Hughes was contacted by the CCFC board he would of been honoured to discuss the managers position. I can confirm the Board have made it Crystal Clear to a third party on Thursday 14th Nov they don’t want Hughes to manage CCFC stating his position at previous clubs wasn’t great. This was immediately relayed back to MH. In my opinion 15 Years as a manager in the Premier league isn’t bad and as a player was unquestionable. Cardiff City Board have MISSED a great opportunity with Mark Hughes and his New Assistants ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Warnock always said this was his last season, he also said he'd leave at Xmas if we weren't in the play offs, Hearts job conveniently comes about and he quits.

Also press stories about the board not happy with some of the extended contracts he gave out to players and falling outs occurred .
