Warnock out pep in is what some thought.

Now your just being deliberately stupid

its better than being plain stupid though...which anyone that takes things like that literally clearly is..

perhaps just dont over-exagerate to try to make a point?

I assumed most including you have at least the 1 brain cell...you do your best to make people doubt it though..i very much doubt if someone in work ,down the pub or a mate said what I did you wouldn't be acting as stupid as you do...

yeah keep deflecting mate  you made a deliberately over the top point to try to make out people are being unrealistic when absolutely nobody is.

much like your claim that Warnock was hounded out, youre the one looking a little silly.

Its looking as if Harris has not been offered it. Lets face it he is available and if he were offered the job he would likely to jump at it. So with 4 days gone and no announcement my money is on anyone other than Harris, I would love to see Gerrard here, but hey ho my glass is always half full :occasion5: :bluescarf:

Mark Hughes :bluebird:

Possibly the board was going to offer the job to Harris but have seen the almost completely negative reaction and had second thoughts or maybe are waiting to see if someone better throws his hat in the ring.

Does anyone know what Hughes is doing at the moment or even where he lives. Given his long playing career and management career at a high level ha will be a muti millionaire who does not have to work if it doesn't suit him. Can't remember him being linked to any other jobs and its 11 months since he left Southampton and maybe he is not interested in managing a football club anymore. Reckon Orient will be looking at Harris if we don't appoint him.

But I would say that Mark Hughes has been a Premier League manager for years. He's struggled. But a decent manager and very intelligent.

Certainly better than Warnock and his mate McKay.

That's right, mark Hughes record much better than warnock :laughing5: remind me what he has achieved as a manager again?? Loved him as a player, not that struck on him as a manager so far.certainly better than Harris, but nowhere near Warnocks level of actual success, yet. :old: :bluebird:

Whilst Mark Hughes wouldn’t be my first choice, I don’t think he has had that bad a managerial career to be fair, done really well at Blackburn, Man City fans were not happy when there new owners paid him off after taking over (not that it turned out too bad though) done really well at stoke until his 5th season, done the job that was asked of him for 1 season at Fulham, saved Southampton from relegation when they were in free fall with only a few games of the season left.

His one real blemish was QPR, and again he initially saved them from relegation as they had been in free fall under our very own NW previously, his start to the new season however was diabolical and he went fairly early in the new season.

I don’t agree that NW is any better than MH or visa versa as it’s not apples for apples, NW imo is a better man Mgr but MH has never been relegated from the Premier League, you could also argue that NW is a championship specialist where as MH hasn’t been tested there. (Yet)

As I said at the beginning he is not my first choice of manager but based on the names being named on here he would be in my top 3, with Bowyer my first as he fits the remit we are supposedly looking for, then it’s 50/50 between Hughes & Houghton for me. The others do not inspire me at all.

However it’s all conjecture as perhaps our next manager hasn’t even been mentioned yet - who knows really besides Tan, Dalman & Choo

Why not Mark Hughes as Director of Football and Bellamy Manager. Both Welsh, good contacts, could work. :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

He would have been relegated but gets sacked before the end of the season, Hughes wouldn't work with our fanbase he is more miserable than DJ, if selected I doubt very much that he would have more than one Christmas here!

I bet the board are pretty concerned if they read this forum especially if it's Harris they have in mind with only 12% against Miserable Hughes :o

Out of the two I would chose Harris, but would prefer them to take their time and get Hughton, if they couldn't consider Bowyer or someone else!
