That's how I see it.

Warnock will go soon. I hope it is graceful.

Well who ever picks the next I hope Warnock has no say whatever in the selection process and as for some on here saying DoF please no, can't imagine any manager who wants to play football being dictated to be him.

Thanks for the memories but time to go.

Plan A has been sussed.
No plan B.
Some players just going through the motions.
Huge mistake to announce his leaving.
Sala death has hurt him deeply imho.
Both Edinburgh clubs looking for a boss.

Please Mehmet/Vincent/Ken do not involve Neil in the process of choosing next manager. Let him go gracefully ASAP and get some football advice from football people albeit modern football people.

And in the meantime let Bellamy have a caretaker role until seasons end and maybe he will surprise a few people

I understand that some fans would be happy to see Warnock go, but why would a club get rid of the league's most experienced manager and replace him with someone with virtually no experience, and who has had his man-management skills seriously questioned. Personally, I wouldn't want to see Bellamy near the place, but that's just my opinion.

f**k me, some people on here can't remember how shit we were before Warnock took over.

We all feel a bit let down but there is no way I am poking the finger at Neil. Look how abject some of the players performances have been. If they can't be bothered what hope have we got.

Poke the fingers at the players on the pitch before you attack the best Manager we have probably ever had.

All great managers at some point have to go, would you rather wait until he retires and have a man come one other a short time to rebuild and not know his best 11 or take a new man in January who has time to see what he’s working with and know where and what positions he needs to change during the summer personally I prefer the latter whilst I appreciate what warnock has done here announcing he was going was a bad move for all parties imo and it’s time for w change soon before it’s enforced in the summer anyway

I understand your point about January and there is logic in what you state. But my point is that we are only in November and the knives are obviously being sharpened by many on here, and some have already placed them in Neil's back.

Personally I don't think our season is already finished, even though it has been a frustration thus far. But loyalty is a big thing for me.....even if it means we waste half a season. We shouldn't have been in the PL last season but miraculously we were! That was down to one man.

The club is always bigger than any individual but Neil is long in the tooth and he will know when the time is right, so I say leave it down to the Gaffer to decide.

Sorry Jules, responding to Tangled who suggested Bellamy for a caretaker role. Not sure why. No track record of any kind other than being moved on out of the club due to reported bullying.

We lack quality all over the park, No ambition by Tan. or CARDIFF board, I’m fed up with how clubs are run in General by the cooperate elite, squeezing the fans for every amount of profit, Vincent Tan, Mike Ashley, . Warnock has not been backed up again. Time for Tan to sell up, Fans should have more of a say. We are the investors too.

I’m pretty sure VT would be more than happy to ‘sell up’ but finding a buyer may not be as easy as one may think.

Warnock has been given a substantial amount of money which has not been spent very well given the clear lack of quality in the squad. Off the top of my head I can think of 10 signings he’s made which has cost well over £60mill. Poor tactics and transfers are the reason for our current position, not lack of ambition from the club as Warnock has been backed.

Re: Rumours all over FB Warnock

Mon Nov 11, 2019 4:39 pm

I think the club has had money to spend on players, the issue is which players it was spent on.

The supporters have been crying out for a proven Championship striker for years and yet we still do not have one. It has been clear that there is a lack of pace in the defence and yet the only defenders we have brought in are as slow as the ones already in the squad.

Having 'team' players is great when they play as a team. At the moment we are not playing as a team.

We do not lack quality all over the park. Etheridge was a top 'keeper for the last two seasons, Smithies is more than capable. Peltier, Bennett, Morrison, Flint are decent at this level, just not playing well. Our wide men are as good as any but again not playing well. Midfield is OK with pack and Ralls but again nothing exceptional. They players showed v Birmingham what they could do in the second have, well organised, played decent football with 10 men and won both halves 2-1. Yesterday we were OK and should have probably won.

Tan and the club do have ambition, and don't want us to be where we are now. Warnock failed us last season and is failing us again this year. It appears the players are not playing well for him.

Warnock has been back to the tune of £60m in the last 4 windows, all we have back is £11.5m on Reid, and not likely to get anything for the others, except maybe Etheridge, but I doubt anyone will fancy him in his current form.

Yes, let's get Tan to sell up, stop his multi million debt write off and ongoing investment and end up going the way fo Bolton, or living on a knife edge like we did under Hammam. The parachute payment send at the end of next season so now is the time to change and half the rest of this season and next year to try and get promoted. I don't think they will back Warnock in the January window given his record of spending and the fact he'll be gone in the summer at the latest

Unfortunately for us the parachute payments end after this season. Clubs that only spent a single year in the Premier receive 2 years of parachute payments not the usual three. It's all there in black and white for those who fancy to disagree. Warnocks been great for the club in stabilising and getting a surprise promotion, but it's clear now that a serious lack of passion from a man months away from retirement is affecting results despite team worth a small fortune in the footballing world. Plans for the next manager MUST be prepared now regardless of wether Warnock leaves before the end of the season.

the net spend is more like 40 mill
and considering 1 of those seasons was in the prem the word substantial is a joke …

btw he has 47 wins for us in 97 championship games..

more wins than DJ managed in his very best 97 best consecutive championship results
more than LL best 97 best consecutive championship results
more than jimmy Andrews
more than Ritchie morgan
and more than jimmy scoulars best 97 game run...
malky had 2 less wins off 5 games less
slade had 17 less wins off 16 less games...

that's a fair old record considering all the crap that is said about tactics. team selection and transfers....
