If we're talking about just figures then debt is currently £1.8 billion (85.2% of GDP) and was £1.07 billion in 2010 (69.6% of GDP).
We've had a decade of voluntary austerity and yet can bung the dup £1 billion. How is that labours fault?

I don't think you will find that poverty, homeless people and NHS problems have only been around for the last 9 years. Outsourcing NHS work began before 2010 when the Tories came to power. Both Labour & Conservative parties have played their part in this.

Child poverty was decreasing in 09/10 to 2.6 million (20%) and is now 4.1 million (30%).
Homelessness is increasing by an average of 30 people a day I believe.
NHS waiting times are through the roof if you look at a graph of the last few decades. We all know about the uk/us trade deal that'll damage it as well.
I'm usually one of the first to mention that poverty and homelessness have been around centuries but I meant that if you look at what it was to how it is now you'll see big rises

That's why percentage growth is important. The UK population is roughly 8% larger now than in 2010 but child poverty is up 10% and rising.
People are risking their lives to get here because their country is a warzone. There are many reasons why people try and get to the UK from reputation, knowing someone there, or having someone say they can get you residence there.

Europe is not a warzone. Most of these people travel through Europe to get here via places like Belgium and France. With the UK planning on leaving the EU, why are they so desperate to get to a country that many believe will be worse off outside the EU? Was talking about immigrants in work this week, where councils and HA’s are prioritising foreigners over local people for accommodation. This is putting pressure on services, and is being hushed up by all concerned.
