Ched Evans for Norwich at Ninian Park.

Whittingham at Middlesbrough in the cup, although any of Whittingham's best goals are among the best we will ever see.

Hasselbaink home to Wolves in the cup.

Hudson home to Derby from his own half.

Earnie overhead kick away to Rochdale.

Kavanagh from 35-40 yards at Ninian, caught it sweet on the volley with the outside of his foot and it bent like a banana rocketing into the top corner. I can't remember who we were playing for that one.

Jason Fowler's chip home to Brentford.

Mark Delaney's length of the pitch run home to Chester.

Earnie at the Grange End when he controlled a bouncing ball with his head, swiveled and scored an incredible 30 yard volley which swerved and dipped into the top corner.

Also, a special shout out to Chopra scoring the best hat-trick I have ever seen at Ninian, home to Leicester.

I know that's several goals, but they brought back good memories thinking of all those. :ayatollah:

Some memories in there Ross

We've been watching the club for the same amount of time and I'm glad someone mentioned the gabbiadini one.

Whitts v Barnsley was just insane.

Kav free kick v Leeds

Can't remember who it was against but I remember Jason Bowen scoring a worldwide

Blakey’s..

Oh for an Alan Curtis now. Genius...

I remember most of the goals everyone's been suggesting but I really feel the goal Blakey scored against Man City is the most special as you said, because of the occasion.

I watched that on the sofa with a nasty bout of food poisoning so the occasion rather passed me by but the goal is firmly etched in the memory :bluebird:

Just a different sort of occasion..good thing about food poisoning, it’s a first class detox.

Thinking about it, I reckon that’s the best game I’ve been to..it had everything.

Peter King against Middlesborough 1970 I think. John Buchannan against the Jacks 1980 and of late Victor Camarasa against Leicester last season

Can't believe no one has mentioned Blakey against Man City! The Jimmy Floyd goal against Wolves was sheer class. Whitts against Boro in the cup. Bellers linking up with Rambo against the Jacks was special. Bothroyd against QPR (Taarabt scored a worldy that day as well).

But Darren Adams on his debut against Wrexham is the one for me. I can still see it in my mind today.

A slightly different take on it - what is the worst miss you've seen?

Fred Gounongbe against Brum was pretty stunning. Also, remember Nicky Richardson back in the day clearing the bar from about 3 yards out back in the early 90s.

Good thread

I am fortunate to be old enough to have seen Peter King's goal v Middlesbrough in 1970. And Bobby Woodruff in the same game. And just a few months later Brian Clark v Real Madrid.

But john Buchanan's was very special, given the goal and the game it was in. Loads of goals by Peter Whittingham.

Alan Curtis at the Vetch in 1988 was superb too.

For celebrations, Chopra v the Jacks, Scott young v Leeds and Ben Turner v Liverpool.

And can I mention Zohore v Preston 3 years ago?

Due to the magnitude of the occasion, the quality of the opposition and the audacity of it, I would go for Hal Robson Kanu against Belgium in that quarter final.

It was a ridiculous and jaw dropping ‘cruyff turn’ to put us in the driving seat to get to a semi final. Just brilliant, even watching it back now.

Additionally, Bale in the Champions League final, JFH against Wolves and the Whittingham volley.
