Just to say at this time last season Boro and Leeds topped the table.

It's early days should he get you in playoffs then he rightly should get the plaudits, if he gets you top 2 a key to the city. But it's early days, looks promising but this weekend will give a real view I guess of where the Swansea team are at.

Yeah :laughing5: TOP of the league

A huge win.

Looks to have got his tactics spot on against Bielsa, absorbing pressure with numbers and aggressive pressing then breaking on their flanks.

I hate to say it but you’ve made a great start and I acknowledge that fact. Form would suggest you’d stuff us atm but hopefully (for us) form will go out of the window.
Good start though, I remember we had similar two years ago and was loving it.

Form will go out the window for sure. Two very different style match ups, so anything can happen.

Very interesting season.

Yes I heard that too.
He should have said the truth -
“I’m a Cardiff fan through and through and that will never change. This job came up and it’s pretty local and s good stepping stone for me to get on the managerial ladder”.
“Oh and when Neil retires just drop me a text and I’m out of this $hithole”.

Re: Steve Cooper

Yet another manager doing his apprenticeship with the jacks.
Martinez
Rogers
Potter
When a big club like Cardiff comes a calling, he'll be off.

Re: Steve Cooper

Yes they all leave. Possibly because it’s a town full of degenerate fatties. I know I’m right, because common sense is a watertight opinion. And I’m always right, because my Mum told me. Mush. Did I ever tell you about seven seasons in the premier league.. that was when the world started, then we beat Valencia, and that was the best performance in the World, ever, because Barcelona said so. And we don’t own our ground, and I know I’m right about that.

Ad Infinitum blah blah blah forever..

You reckon he was/could have been on our radar? :?

That would be interesting, as I am not too sure that would have been the case (much to our detriment) but I appreciate you brought the name up last season yourself :thumbright:

Despite the ramblings of some, I am not actually as anti-Swansea as a club as occasionally suggested (just their trolling fans; not all of whom are actually Swans supporters) and I have always admired the way they recruited their managers. Hardly a 'dud' since their rise from the ashes; and Steve Cooper currently appears to be another gemstone in that line

Maybe, given that Neil Warnock says he is leaving come what may at the end of the season, it's high time the Bluebirds took a leaf out of several clubs books and looked to a coach/manager with fresh ideas and a hunger to succeed?

In the meantime, Neil Warnock has my full support and I reckon he ain't done just yet! :ayatollah:

Cooper would be nowhere near the Cardiff job. The players he would have at his disposal would be nowhere near what he needs in order to play the way he likes. Plus he wouldn’t even have been considered.

You lot were slating the appointment and saying how ridiculous it was that we got someone with no club experience. I can’t remember if the (non Cardiff city supporter and poster obsessive) mod above used Cooper in one of his many anti Swansea posts, but if he did that would be very funny indeed.

Nice try but you can't remember because you already know as a FACT that it isn't there!

Of course, you could always go find the negative comment about Steve Cooper (I know his dad Keith very well but not so much the boy) and come back when you have. Thankfully, that would be last we see of you, so I don't expect you to take the challenge up, as you need the 'fix' and would miss us far more than we'd miss you...

We can, of course, live in hope!

You certainly 'suggested' but in the certain knowledge (as you have done with me before) that what you are doing in reality is trying to plant seeds in others minds to try and confuse the situation by saturation (or griding down) rather than any real substance and then you tae smug pleasure from your weird self-perceived 'victories' (as with BluebirdOctober1962 recently)

Have you considered seeking a diagnosis for possible Dunning-Kruger effect? Your pantomathic tendancies seem to be pointing that way :(

Considering my posts “lack substance” it’s amazing that people are constantly incapable of addressing the points I make isn’t it. Once thinks you may be telling some fibs to convince yourself there my good man.
