Very good signing on the cheap too will sit in front of back 4 and give that shield to mozza and flint that is needed so they aren't exposed!!!!
Also a leader who will look to organise rest of midfield
Odd fans on here it's exactly what we needed and we've got it

I know nothing about this Bristol guy I've read a few people say his legs are gone. Seems like the opposite to what Flint and Morrison need around them. Let's see him in action first tho.

Point us in direction to your enlightenment! Post a few links of this all exiting new player. Not sure we wanted a leader, but a footballer would be nice. Good thing he came cheap though, us spending big this window.

He’s only 28 so the people who are saying his legs have gone are talking nonsense. I’m personally very happy with the signing, gutted about losing Reid but he doesn’t suit our style at all.

Agree. Some of our “supporters” would be better off watching Corrie than football.

Marlon Pack Can Be Bluebirds Warrior, Claims Neil Warnock . . . As Bristol City Say Deal Was Too Good To Refuse
Posted on 8th August 2019 by Graham Thomas
Neil Warnock believes he has a new warrior leader at Cardiff City after the club completed a deal to sign Marlon Park from Bristol City.
The midfielder has moved to the Bluebirds for an undisclosed fee after six years at Ashton Gate and Warnock reckons the 28-year-old will fill the gap left by Aron Gunnarsson.
“He’s the leader we’ve been looking for now since we knew Gunnars (Aron Gunnarsson) was leaving,” said Warnock.
“We waited and waited and finally managed to get it over the line today, so we’re delighted with that, really.
“I think everyone knew we missed that leadership and I think this squad has got great characters now in different areas.”
Pack has been an integral player for the Robins in recent seasons – making 288 appearances and scoring 12 goals.
But Bristol City manager Lee Johnson said the offer from Cardiff was too good to turn down.
“At this stage in his career and what was offered for him, it makes this move the right decision for Marlon and Bristol City,” said Johnson.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Marlon and I’ve had the privilege of seeing him develop both on and off the field.

Cardiff City have confirmed the signing of Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack, becoming the Bluebirds’ eighth signing of the summer window.
He made the short trip to South Wales on deadline day, moving just four days after playing the full 90 minutes of the Robins’ Championship opener against Leeds United, and signs a three-year deal with his new club.
It ends a six-year stay at Ashton Gate, during which he helped the Robins return to the Championship in 2014 making a total of 283 appearances, scoring 12 goals and assisting 24 more.

Championship Picks
The 28-year-old joins Aden Flint, Isaac Vassell, Curtis Nelson, Gavin Whyte, Joe Day, Will Vaulks and Robert Gladzel in signing up to Neil Warnock’s 2019/20 promotion charge.
The Blue Birds were relegated at the first attempt following their promotion in 2018, with Brighton finishing just two points above them.
And their promotion push did not get off to the best of starts on Saturday either, losing 3-2 to Wigan Athletic at the DW.

If Warnock is so savvy with transfers then why have the majority of his signings now either had no part to play in the team, or have been moved on to other clubs.
I believed that championship players we signed last year would still be with us if we went straight back down to give a serious challengw for a promotion campaign.

Hand on heart. This guy is no where near good enough for cardiff. As a bristol city fan and watching this guy for 6 years (shoot me down if you like) this guy will not make cardiff Progress, hes a sideways and backwards passer of the ball.no skill. No speed. No physical presence. Slow is an understatement of this guy, he only made the city side last year due to 3 centre midfielders injured almost all season last year. Im glad hes off our books. You will find him commanding and is a good communicator and once in a blue moon youll get a great 60 yard pass but im afraid he wont do you much good if he is a key player for you.

Keep reading the same things about him.
I'll judge him on how we plays tho.
