Fans got short memories and don't realise the majority of the players we got now got us promoted and came within 3 points of safety last season in the hardest league in the world.

Keep the faith and get behind the boys and the manager I say, this group responds well when the chips are down!

Our best player ? Really based on performances for us ?

Manga possibly but what about Etheridge, Bennett, Mendez-Laing, Hoilett at this level, Murphy at this level and the back four that got us up last time ?

I didn’t want Reid to go but he simply isn’t our best player on his performances for us.

he has the potential to be our best. unfortunately under warnocks tactics, that potential will never be reached. lets watch him bag 20+ goals for fulham.

A player can’t be your best player until he proves that. Many felt Zohore had the potential but that only happened for 6 months at best.

Reid may well score 20 for Fulham but he wouldn’t have for us either down to him wanting to leave or simply not fitting into Warnock’s tried and tested set-up in the Championship.

I’m not massively excited by our business myself but if we have signed Pack we have at least filled what I regarded as our biggest problem after signing Glatzel as our main striker.

Although your right, you also said Murphy is amongst our best players? What has he done that Reid hasn’t ?

Don't see how anyone can rate Vasell as a good signing just yet. He has been poor for Birmingham as evidenced by the fact he has scored 1 goal in 23 games and most of the time doesn't even start but comes on as a late sub. If he isn't good enough to start a game for Birmingham how come he is good enough for us.

Bobby Reid should be a great loss to us but isn't really due to the fact that Warnock won't play him as a striker. Fulham will and it would not surprise me if he gets 20 plus goals for them this season. I think Warnock has just lost the plot completely.

What you think Fulham would play him up top instead of Mitrovic

You would not know it from watching Warnocks Cardiff but there is no law against playing with two strikers and no reason Reid can't play alongside Mitrovic. people rave about Mitrovic but since he has come to the UK the most goals he has scored for his club side in a sesason is 11. Reid managed 20 for Bristol City the season before we signed him.

So their gunna play Mitrovic, Reid, Knockheart, the wolves reject and Cairney. Thats really gunna solve their awful defense

I wish people would stop saying Bobby Reid was our best player. It's all speculation. The facts are he did next to f**k all for us.
I'd back Warnock over Reid every single day.

One good thing is apparently Ried has gone on loan so can't play against us.

We didn’t see enough of Reid at home to know how good he is. He had one good season for Bristol City then a so-so Premier League season. It is not a foregone conclusion that he will ever be that good again

Interesting Paul Abbandonato now saying Reid may now go on loan to Fulham so cant play against us. Plus the management team were very unhappy with his performance against Wigan. A bad apple maybe? Time will tell.

I think virtually every negative fan must be a member of this forum. Just had a swift two in my local, and the view there is completely different to what I read on here. Should be used to it now, every transfer window ends with our club being slated on this forum. There were moans and groans last time, and constant digs at Warnock and certain players throughout a season where we eventually finished second and ended up in the PL. I believed then , and still believe, that Warnock has forgotten more about football management than any fan on here will ever know. Managing a real team is different to Football Manager on Playstation 2.

My opinion is Bobby Reid could have been a stand out player for us this season, but I respect the views of those who are less than impressed with him, and there is nothing to say I am right and they are wrong. Besides, if he doesn't want to stay at Cardiff, what is Warnock & Co supposed to do. Instead of complaining about who has gone, and who has not been signed, why not just get behind the players we have, and trust Warnock to do what he has already done for us once before.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, shouldn't our new signings be given a chance to show what they can do for us before being criticised by fans on here?

Doesn’t make any sense selling Reid to Fulham, we’ve just bolstered their squad and gave them the advantage over us for promotion, looking at the majority of business done it seems we’re setting up for dropping down a league

Completely baffled by today’s business, it’s made us a weaker team, really do hope that I am proved wrong and we go up.

What’s done is done though and now we get behind the players we have and become the 12th man again
