He had one good season at Bristol and that's it. Obviously Warnock seem him up close in training for the last year and not happy with him. In Warnock I trust, won't be the first or last manager to make a few mistakes in transfer market. I just hope Tomlin can play a tune or to now.

Warnock won't play Tomlin.

But balance the books we must,we are not rich from one season in the prem, remember where we have come from

I totally understand where your coming from, and the most important thing is to keep the club running the right way. I just wish we had a bit more ambition. I think myself along with many others were highly optimistic about the season, yet so far the players coming and going are not really encouraging. I guess we will just have to wait and see over the next few games how things work out.

Keeping this simple...
He a very good footballer who can do a job for us. His best position is just behind the main striker where his off the ball movement can create space for the main striker.
Not only that ive seen him track back and help us defend.
Warnock needs to keep the lad because he one of the very few in our squad who has a real talent. Plus why would you sell a player to a team who competing with us to go up? Make them stronger and us weaker, doesn't make sense.

However we don't need folk hanging around that don't want to be here(we have enough of them) and that is why in my opinion we should cash in if we have the chance to do so.
agree
Who says he isn't happy to stay here? Big assumption.
It’s a big assumption but if he wanted to be here then he would be!

What has Bobby Reid done for us... How many game changing performances? Five goals... His historic goal scoring record not scored twenty odd for Bristol in 135... Not prolific, one good season.
Not suited to our hoofball, Will do better at a footballing team.
For me he'll not be missed even if he scores a lot for Fulham, he'd not get those goals here because of said hoofball.
You may guess I'm not a fan of our hoofball.

i just posted this on a different topic, but i feel it answers the question as to why the tears.
yeah i am furious, i am not going to lie, and it isnt because we look "weaker" or anything its about how last season, he kept saying we didn't have the money to spend on bringing in a striker, something we all could see we desperately needed, he spend £4m on smithies, £4m on cunningham, £10m on reid. to see the fact he hasnt played them, and just loaned them out, has infuriated me, simply because i believe we could of used that money on actually buying someone last season.
i dont understand the vassell purchase, when we have bogle, ward, as back ups, vassell won't play number 10, especially when patterson is back,
we clearly have no pace at the back, yet he hasnt addressed this, he's just bought a defensive midfielder in marlon pack, does this mean Vaulks will be a sub, impact player, if so, why throw the £2m at him. our squad is too big at the moment, and i am hopefully some league one teams come in for a few of our players.
unfortunately Warnocks track record on spending for us has, has been shocking, he's a mastermind with free-bees and loans.
but people were saying Arter wasnt on our radar....why not, why didnt we look at some actual quality, why did we just go for squad fillers

Agree with op
Thought he was ok, nothing special
Should of scored at Wigan to make it 2.0
Think when we got relegated he wanted out
Glad he has gone
