Our facilities are first class, we even have an altitude chamber. It was one of the first things Paul Clement commented on when he was interviewed, and he has been at Bayern and Real Madrid. I think our training facilities are renowned for being state of the art and certainly a source of immense pride for everyone at the club.

Serious question mate - is there anything at all at your club that’s not brilliant, well run etc.
I’ll admit that our youth system is very poor.

Of course, but if you are wanting to focus on those topics then choosing a state of the art training facility, 7 years in the Premier League or unearthing good players at bargain prices aren't good places to start.

A lack of imagination in the transfer market last year of the PL was clearly a negative, our ownership model is not great and our first team clearly lacking experience. Our average age must be 24.

Huw has gone, your better Managers are gone, currently Managed by a Bluebird, you won't pick up players like Sinclair through Brenda's connections, you're owned by asset strippers and you'll finish bottom half at best, so do one Roathy!

Huw was one of the reasons we stagnated, he needed to go. Our manager is fantastic from what I have seen and heard so far. He won the world cup for England U-17's which is one hell of an achievement and we have won every single pre season match even Champions League Atalanta who finished 3rd in Serie A.

Our owners are not asset strippers, if they were then they would have stripped us of some assets by the very nature of being asset strippers. They are venture capitalists however and have no doubt they are here to purely make money, but this will no doubt be done through sale of the club after improving its value.

I mean they were already a lower midtable squad of players but now maybe this will push them that bit closer to a possibly relegation scrap. Looking forward to the derbies this year might be the first time to do the double. In a combined starting 11 would any of their players get in? Maybe Connor Roberts at RB. The rest are very average.

Friendliest mean nowt mate.
I reckon you’ll be hovering around 10th to play offs and just miss out. I think we’ll end up 3rd and go up via play offs - I would say that though wouldn’t I

Celina, Roberts, Fulton, Van Der Hoorn would all get in your side in my opinion. But as it stands I agree, best chance for you to do the double in years and years, we are very young.

Not sure of Van Dee Hoorn mate. Every time I watch him (which isn’t often tbf) he looks like he is a mistake waiting to happen.

He has been up there for our player of the season for the last 2 years no doubt.

Make your mind up Roathy, you quote all the success you achieved through Huw and his appointments, including Dan James and McBurnie and then say he stagnated, maybe true but without him, you're facked.

Your Golden Goose has gone, and the funny thing is he took all the Golden Eggs with him :laughing6:

Go to your own board and moan with the rest of them about the club selling all you best players and not replacing them and face up to the facts that it has all caught up with your and you're going backwards every season!

Please don't call me names, I have been more than pleasant. Anyway, he was a huge part of our success, absolutely, but then probably one of the main reasons for the end of that success. Yes signings such as James and McBurnie were good but then he also sanctioned re-signing Bony and Ayew costing the club tens of millions.

Huw didn't take anything with him, he just sold his shares, he owned them and wasn't going to keep them forever. I don't believe for one second we are going backwards, we are sure-ing the club up after relegation and have an exciting young team and manager. If people are moaning about that then they are probably the Premier League plastics.

He has come on leaps and bounds, really stepped up since giving him his chance.

Celina is our best player though without a shadow of a doubt. Pure class.

Well I would say there are more Cardiff fans on planetswans than there are Swansea ones on here, and even on here you are talking about us :D

zero topics on CCFC on Planetswans front page.

2 SCFC topics on this forum front page... and many more in the few before, 2 is actually pretty low on recent viewing.

Of course, I need to try and put some evidence to your claim so a quick check is necessary. I didn't find any evidence though, quite the contrary. In fact the first 2 pages of each forum resulted in 5 Swansea topics on here to zero Cardiff topics on there.

If I was obsessed then I would be talking about Cardiff. I barely mention them, my presence here is linked to the above and the desire you guys have to talk about all things Swansea. Not a bad thing.

Exactly zero topics when we are doing better than you :laughing6:

If we had just lost to someone or just sold our best player purely for the money there would be loads, we are just happy to laugh at you slide back to the 2nd division :laughing6:

Are you doing better than us then? We are in the same league both on zero points.

I have seldom seen a Cardiff City thread on Planetswans regardless of events with players or results.

You just sold Manga, dont think it has even been remotely mentioned on there.
