just ring the club "cardiff" we are not going to take up all away tickets it may be ok to pay on the day its a bit late to get tickets through the post but you could become a club member to qualify for away tickets for future .
Thanks for the reply Monty,
I was going to renew my membership this season, but after forking out £50 for them last season which we didn't really have the money for, only to not go to a single away match whether financial or circumstantial, it was money down the drain. I can't pay that again for the sake of the potential two or three matches that we may be able to watch this season.
So, unfortunately, it'll have to be on the off chance that someone has spares on one of the coaches or pay on the day.
I'll get hold of Cardiff tomorrow to see if I'll be able to pay on the day - and maybe even Wigan themselves? Other than that, it'll be a last minute job if anyone like Lawnmower, against Bolton last time in the Championship, has any spares on a coach.
Thanks again!
hi mate, might you have a better chance of sitting in the home end for this one?
not what youd want im sure, but at least youd see the match

Nice idea, but there is no way could I keep schtum if we scored and I'd face the same level of vitriol as the Liverpool supporters in the Cardiff end last season which caused ructions!!
Besides the CCFC shirts need a good airing after a couple of months in a drawer!!

"Jazz Richards who’s unfortunately got this knee ligament injury, he’s going to be another three or four weeks."

Cardiff City will be without one of their new boys for the trip to the DW Stadium
Cardiff City will be without new signing Robert Glatzel for the trip to Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
The German forward is one game into a two-match ban picked up in his native Germany, after being sent off while playing for former club Heidenheim on May 19.
It means Glatzel is now out of contention for his Bluebirds debut until the home game with Luton Town on August 10.
His absence presents something of a dilemma for boss Neil Warnock, who withdrew Gary Madine as a precaution during the first half of City's pre-season win over Nice last weekend.
It's understood Madine is likely to be a part of Warnock's matchday squad, and could yet lead the line at the DW Stadium.
Should he not be fit, it could well open up the door for Omar Bogle, who's been one of Cardiff's brightest performers this summer, or Danny Ward.
One man definitely out is Jazz Richards, with Warnock confirming the full-back is struggling with a knee injury and will be out for around three to four weeks.
Otherwise, there are no new injury concerns for the Yorkshireman, who will have been pleased to see Callum Paterson return to action this week.
The Scottish international missed most of the summer with ankle injury, but enjoyed a run out for the under-23s on Friday.
Lee Tomlin, Alex Smithies, Cameron Coxe, Greg Cunningham and Aaron Bolger also played, meaning they won't be travelling to Lancashire this weekend.
New signings Gavin Whyte, Will Vaulks, Aden Flint and Curtis Nelson will all be vying for starts, while new goalkeeper Joe Day is likely to take his place on the bench behind Neil Etheridge.
Looking ahead to the new campaign, Warnock said: "This is my 40th year, so I think you’ve got to call it a day some time.
"I don’t think it would have been right to leave, as one or two people said in the press.
"I think it was right that we get the squad blended so it’s easier for a manager to come in with a settled squad.
"I think we’ve got a really good squad now and we’re going to give it a good go.
"If things didn’t work out, I’d probably leave before the end of the season. I’m sure we’d talk like that.
"I think at the minute, we’ve just got to concentrate on doing well."

Some words from the Latics boss ahead of this one.
“In Cardiff this afternoon, we welcome a team that was playing in the Premier League just a few months ago, and also a manager I have immense respect for and who boasts one of the best records in English football.”

Penalty shout
Garner volleys Robinson’s cross against Flint inside the box. He’s convinced it’s hit the centre-back’s arm. No pen.
Paul Cook is incredulous in the dugout and is shown a yellow card for his efforts.

Wigan manager Paul Cook booked
Sat Aug 03, 2019 2:30 pm
Great work from Mendez-Laing and Reid down the right allows the latter to break free towards the byline. His low cross is played out for a corner, which comes to nothing.
That lead has given Cardiff a real spring in their step. Things are getting a little feisty out there, mind.

Flint playing well, but pace between Morrison & Flint in the long run could be a concern?
