I know people will say that we have Bobby Reid but you still need someone who is useful in the air. A bit of a Target man. I know Dwight Gayle is similar but he would definitely score 15-25 goals in the Championship. NW keeps saying that the club are trying hard to bring a striker in well its time for them to pay the going rate to bring one in so that we don’t end up like last summer & regret the consequences. Come on City.
You do understand it's not like walking into a retail store, where you pick up a set of socks, maybe a T-Shirt and possibly a snazzy jacket......take them to the till and pay the asking price?
There are so many variables in a football transfer of which the majority are out of the buying club's control.
I'm sure the club are doing their best, if it doesn't happen it's not necessarily the club's fault. Be patient my friend.

Warnock has the right attitude - spending willy nilly is what we slated Ole for.
Andy Carroll is a good shout on a one year contract.

Because Warnock likes to play with two wingers and the club only have three.
Easy really.

You do realise Dwight Gayle is valued at £20mill don’t you? Do you honestly think we are going to be spending that sort of money on a striker?
Even IF we did offer £20mill and IF Newcastle accepted the bid and IF we did offer him the £55k a week he’s on, do you think he would want to come here? Newcastle have a new manager so he’s probably hoping to impress him and play premier league football next season.
Some people on here seriously need to wake up.

Going by that logic the squad is complete
3 keepers
4 full backs
5 centre backs
6 midfielders
4 wingers
4 strikers
After this winger comes in I think our business is done

Don't know what his valuation is, but it certainly won't be decided by Google. His value will be decided by his club, and how much a potential purchaser is willing to pay. I take the on line valuations with a pinch of salt. We saw valuations of Zohore range from £2m to £15m over the course of a season or two.

The club are believed to be closing in on a new signing in the form of Oxford United winger Gavin Whyte, but Warnock still has his heart set on a getting another striker over the line.
However, although targets have been identified, he admits there is currently nothing imminent.
"I'm not just going to sign anybody for the sake of it. We have got two major targets but at the moment I'm afraid neither of them we can say we've got a good chance of getting them.
"If you could give me two or three players this week I'd be absolutely delighted because I don't think we've got enough to think about automatic promotion."
Warnock is set to cast the net beyond the UK this summer, and insists the club's hierarchy are working flat out to bring the right man on board, although there are potential back-up options available.
"There's not a lot around [in the UK]," he added. "So we've got to do what we can. We got £8m with Ken and I know people will say you shouldn't sell him until you've got someone, but I just felt he needed the change and we did.
"It's not as easy as you think but we are working really hard. This morning I had meetings galore and calls, you name it.
