Ticket office are twats

This is the third season now that they are using the old cards and recharging them, you must be living in a cave if you did not know that

Trying to make me pay 10 quid for new card when I didn't know we using same as last year. Spoke to supervisor and they said if I haven't moved seats il have to pay 10 quid for new one. If they don't sort it for free il cancel my 4 tickets and just do away games. No loyalty to fans whatsoever

So let me get this right as I’m a bit confused... the club openly publicised on all letters and emails that you have to keep your season ticket so that it can be reloaded for this season (this helps to keep the cost of your season ticket down as it obviously costs about a tenner to produce a new card and send it out etc)

You then lose your ticket but you want the club to pay to issue you a new card and send it out to you even though it is your own fault you threw your old card away

Even though the club has some of the lowest priced season tickets in the championship you are now threatening to cancel your season tickets yet you are prepared to now go to all the away games which will cost a huge amount more and put money into the pockets of all the other clubs in the championship yet depriving the club you support of any income

Can I just correct you. New season ticket holders DO NOT get a card for free, there is an admin charge for your season ticket which is for the card itself. My old man goes nuts about it as it's an extra cost from what is advertised.

I do find it crazy that a few people lately have said they threw their ST away at the end of the season, the club have told people for a few years now to keep their cards.

Hope you find a suitable resolution and try not to take it out on the staff in the ticket office who are only doing their job in following club policy.

The ticket office aren't thats.

They do their job as they're trained to do which includes carrying out the policy of the club.

If the cost of your ticket was £10 more when you applied, and included a new card, you undoubtedly would have paid cos its incredible value, so what's the difference in coughing up an extra tenner now, and just getting on with supporting the team.

Its not customer courtesy its customer goodwill ! And that not always results in refunds or freebies? This thread as gone on long enough and is getting stupid , pay up or shut up others have payed the money and as been say it's been common knowledge/policy for several years the charge so no excuses
Payed £5 for replacement bus pass last week complained but got nowhere as was policy the £5 so that was that just try keep safe in future

I don't get where I'm wrong. If I bought new season ticket for exactly the same price I would get a new card but because I'm a previous season ticket holder I don't. Av I gone mad or do u all work at the city ffs. Nevermind rant over suppose il have to cough up

Honestly it happened a few years back and he ranted about it for weeks. He went down with £400 in his pocket to sort his ST out (price £399). The guy behind the counter said it would be £404 as it was £5 for the season ticket card. My old man argued until he was blue in the face saying that the card is actually the season ticket, without it he doesn't have a season ticket! I still wind him up about it to this day

I've just had my card and my sons card sent out to me FOC and we haven't moved seats These just came out of the blue Happy days two shiny new cards

No but other businesses do like councils! also if need replacement birth certificates ect ect, all got to do is print it off but it costs to do so

If I remember rightly there were a few issues with existing cards not working on the day of the first home game last season? I half expected them to send all new cards out this summer incase there is a repeat of this.
