Not entirely true. The interested party may only have a strict budget.

A bit like a cash strapped club offering a quid for Messi and Barca rejecting it. If he was on the transfer list and that's the highest bid he attracted then you would have a point, however he is not on the open market and his value is determined by his worth to the club he plays for. That may change should he hand in a transfer request.

As it stands, we have made that clear that the price is 20 million, it's now up to Sheffield United to decide if he is worth that to them. Ball in their court.

That is usually the case yes, not sure what has annoyed you about that statement of the absolute obvious.

If my budget for a house is 400k and I offer that on a house valued at 500k and they refuse.. then I probably don't go back.

I'ts funny because some on here thought the freak show roathie had left, he was always here just using one of his 50 other names. I wonder if he still lives in Australia :lol: :lol: ........if so he must be awake 24/7 posting on this site. :lol: :lol:
