Let's see what the Corbyn bashers have to say about that

Looks more like a political meeting, where a request was then made for donations. There’s no dinner tables, and Trump made no speech. You’ve been mugged again mate..

Oh, and by the way, Corbyn doesn’t have to cosy up to IRA/Hamas.. being a tosser comes naturally.

Respect the office, if not the man!

Like it or not, POTUS is the leader of the UK's closest ally and we need to be looking the future during this visit, as it will have an impact on the future either way

Corbyn should consider that when he joins the protests tomorrow in order to ingratiate himself to the lefties he hopes to carry into No.10 one day!

Now THAT is the more scary (for the UK) right now!

As Trump pointed out yesterday should Corbyn become PM why would Trump deal with somebody he's never met and has publicly slated him.

Heaven forbid if it happens.

So you've made the massive assumption that anyone who doesn't like Corbyn is in some way a Trump supporter?? Lol your comedy gold every post.

I mean, I haven't.
The point is:Corbyn talks to members of the IRA- Massive outrage on here saying how he shouldn't be in power.
The president of the United States talks to probably the same people, and donates- No comment/defend him

Possibly the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen. Only yesterday the US ambassador said that he would expect the NHS to be “on the table” during trade talks.

Trumps not in charge of the UK Corbyn would be. I think it's perfectly justifiable to be more concerned about who he has and still mixes with more than Trump.

how can anyone justify talking to terrorists because dialogue is important { even when they are not important enough themselves for it to mean anything other than being a dick }

If we're the European Union for 100 years it would be the United States of American who we could rely on to get us out of a crisis. Why will the Americans put him back in power next year ? Its because he puts them first. Unlike Khan and Corbyn who do and will always put the British at the back.

No he suggested that the NHS be discussed and that companies in the private sector be able to bid on services in the public sector.

The fact is the ambassador will have very little to do with any deals should talks ever arise so him "suggesting" it is exactly that, he hasn't said they are coming to get our NHS.

Don't twist things to suit your agenda, it's all the left seem to do these days.

Re: Like him or loathe him

The problem with him is he would rather showboat to his base than enter into proper dialogue with people who may have a different opinion and affect change.

Corbyn I am talking about....... Prince Charles probably gave Trump a harder time over climate change, because he spoke to him.

I think people campaigning against Trump are very silly as like it or not he is the president and it upto the American people .

The likes of Khan is why I cannot vote Labour anymore the likes of him and now Corbyn who still think we should have
another vote on Europe when a vote took place tells you the type of people they are.

London is a mess at the moment and Khan is the problem

the point isnt about like or dislike , its the fact that he is the elected leader of a country that has shed so much blood and spent so much money being our friend....it deserves respect...
im not sure id have voted for him or Hillary but would feel equally peed of if she had been elected and a possible future PM was behaving this way towards her..

Trump is a businessman 1st and not a politician and it shows! but love him ir hate him he's head of USA and that's the important thing when people deal with him? What if Corbyn got in power before xmas how the fck is he going to approach trump because normally its the USA who gets 1st call to new pm, given Corbyn's stance on his visit can see the churchill sign going in Corbyn's direction? :old:

Re: Like him or loathe him

Mon Jun 03, 2019 10:11 pm

The office of President deserves respect. Sadly,. this man does not. He should not have been offered a State visit. Few Presidents have been - so why him?

Nonetheless there have been even worse examples of leaders e.g. dictators of very dubious regimes etc who have been given the same "honour". Disgraceful.

The comments of Sadiq Khan were wholly unecessary. And the fact that Jeremy Corbyn is actively protesting is not, imo, an appropriate response.
Not attending the State Dinner, on the other hand, would have been fine by me.
Turning back to like or loathe him.....
The fact Trump for involved in a spat with Khan showed his utter lack of class.as did his giving advice and comments on UK politics and our role in international affairs.
I could go into detail about his views on the environment, treatment of women, racial comments, very questionable lack of military service etc. But in all honesty, I can't be arsed. :bluebird:
