A forum for all things Cardiff City

Where do people on this thread come off telling others to go and support Man U, Man C, etc? All I read on this thread is disappointed and passionate City fans with an opinion. We all have opinions, that's what's great about the game, so just because you don't agree, doesn't give you the right to have a pop at others. I think NW is the best man for us, but sometimes you question team selection, tactics and subs. Sorry.

No argument.....!
Anyone else come up with a better CV???
Fook offf.

You are probably right as he is a genius in the championship, but the trouble as I see it is his contract runs out at Xmas and if he stayed on past that and got us promoted would you keep him for another crack at the prem ?

I didn't get to watch the game today for personal reasons but I did keep up to date is this Forum and BBC Sport
It would appear that City missed a trick but the jumping on to the 'Warnock Out' bandwagon is embarrassing; although not unsurprising from some
An untimely bad day at the office but get a grip and remember who got us here in the beginning

Well said. If they can’t handle us passionate supporters discussing the manager and the team’s shortcomings, maybe they should go and support someone else.

I used to be in the school of we would be mad to get rid of Warnock but definitely not so sure now for all the reasons people are giving. Expensive signings he does not want to play utterly unambitious performances in games we need to win, bizarre subsitutions etc. The only problem is we can be quite crap at appointing managers look at Slade and Trollope. No guarantee we will get it right. Today just leaves a nasty taste in the mouth we were so unambitious against a relegated side in a match we wanted to win. I don't buy this Warnock needed to play like that or we would be torn to pieces we are talking about a relegated side who we stuffed earlier in the season not Man City.
As for playing Healey instead of Reid why? Reid proved himself one of the best possibly the best striker in the championship last season when Healey is about league on standard no better than that.
If Brighton lose to Newcastle tonight and they are losing now there are going to be a lot of people pissed off at Warnock and rightly so.

Warnock has already saved this club in my eyes. On and off the field !!

These are serious questions to you:
Are you at training every day with the Cardiff city squad?
Assuming the answer to above is no, why do you think you have a better insight than Warnock who's with the squad everyday,
Do you or have you ever coached at any level in football?

People wont want to hear this on here. But all things considered we have had a really good season. Hopefully we can keep the squad together because this team picked up an un-godly amount of points last season.
Sat Apr 27, 2019 8:01 pm
Yes, let’s get rid of NW, return to red home colours, sign Cornelius again and build a statue of Alan Curtis outside CCS.
Get real!

Staying up with this squad probably would have won Warnock the pfa manager of the year award which speaks volumes as to how difficult a job it has been. If it takes a manager of the year type performance to keep us up then it was always a 1 in 20 chance. We can come back from this a lot stronger
Sat Apr 27, 2019 8:11 pm
He's in his 70's ffs........
We need to build a team, manager, fan base for the next 70 years not next season............

You obviously don’t support City to come up with such dross. Yes it was disappointing, but if you’re so fickle not to be able to take that then I suggest you give up watching sport full stop.

Warnock has worked wonders and deserves the loyalty he gets from most of the fans.
Plus, we are still two games of football away from staying up. Win the next two. We've done it.

Calling for Warnock's head now is pointless and dangerous. We need to finish the season and then the club need to make a very calm decision. Always be careful for what you wish for. If we appoint the wrong manager we can very easily spiral backwards next year to the foot of the Championship. I think there is a lot of merit in keeping Warnock in the short term and making a considered transition to a new manager rather than ripping things up and starting again. Although it hurts to be relegated we can bounce back stronger with calm heads and the right investment.

Totally agree.
I'm not staying he should stay or go but it needs to be evaluated at the end of the season.
If we do go down then we should at least be in a better position than last time.

Totally agree with you

Some of our fans are embarrassing..
Cry babies...
We all disappointed, but we need to keep Warnock, best manager we have had

You are open to your opinions but in my view they are bang out. Crap substitutions ? We created all our chances when Ward and and Healey came on. Was you there today ffs ?
Jesus Christ I gather you won’t be watching us next season then. Get a reality check will you without Warnock this team would be mid table championship at best. Get in the real world will ya.
Sat Apr 27, 2019 10:23 pm
Right man for the job, and he will bring the club back up, if he stays. I hope Cardiff can stay up buts its a huge task now. Its been a strange season and with many tales. Sala news killed us all sadly.

I don't see why being their matters if people watched the game or why someone who didn't think Wanrock got it right won't be watching us next season, kind of odd generalisation really. Especially when wanrock said he got it wrong.

Lets be honest if you're a plastic Cardiff City follower you wouldnt be a member of a Cardiff city forum would you. Everyone on here are diehard city followers even if you disagree with them. I disagree with people who say Warnock should be sacked as i think he's the right guy to take us back up but people who want a change and want to watch better football are entitled to their opinion.

Danny Says wrote:pembroke allan wrote:He stays we go up again then what?

No chance of going up with the remainder of this squad unless he gets in 5-6 decent players in midfield and up top.
The successful teams in the championship this season have played football like we did under Jones.
No way a defensive minded team will succeed next season.
We've actually got a very good championship
Squad more than capable of getting promotion if there next season? But then what same tactics style of play poor use of subs! Would need literally 10 new players to bring squad upto premier league standards but unfortunately not with NW leading as think hes shown he as lots weaknesses that are found out in premier league that he got away with in championship
