The Newcastle/Huddersfield back to back was another scenario where we could’ve pulled clear but the team flopped with two of the worst performances of the the last few seasons. Everton and Watford are good teams, but when you’re barely getting a shot on target or completing a pass it gets difficult to get positive.

We had an great chance of staying up. But it looks and feels like now we will regret not taking it

GREAT chance of staying up...is a very blue tinted view of things.

With the positions we have put ourselves in at times this season we have had great chances but we have never taken them. We had back to back games against relegation threatened teams and we were awful, 4 points in those games would’ve put us 5 points clear at this point. But we didn’t turn up in either of them.

I’ve never thought we would stay up, thought we would be relegated. But it’s disapoonting seeing at where we could’ve been if we performed when we really should’ve

I was hugely positive after the back to back wins myself , win one of the next 2 and....you get carried away, I do myself, but its a tough division with good teams and can turn on a sixpence..

will say, everyone seemed a lot happier when we had 2pts from 8 games.

What we have suffered from is lacking quality goal scorers, last night for instance Zohore didn't have the confidence to get a shot off, instead opting to make a pass that wasn't there. With the addition of a say a Troy Deeney and creative midfielder like Gylfi Sigurdson, the whole dynamic changes, confidence throughout the team increases to make passes. but, hey, we knew most of this before the season started.

Good point! You saw the same thing with Ward when he come on. Lifted his head, but still made a cross when nobody was there to receive. And i think this is part of the problem. When we had som momentum, we chop and change. Players play without coherence and understanding, and its difficult to see what we are trying to do. But i have to say, seing Morrison and Gunnar yesterday was embarrassing.

You talk some shite aye.
You posted the other today - “let’s get behind all of Warnocks boys” now your posting this negative nonsense!

Warnock talks about needing players in the trenches, well you’re the last person we need at the moment.

Whatever happens this season is a free-hit.

Everyone is quick to blame Warnock, well what would Solskjaer have done here? He seems to find management easy everywhere apart from CCFC.

It's a difficult club to manage and we need to be secure and make long-term decisions even if they involve a little bit of leeway for failure along the way...

Very naive fans turn on one of the clubs greatest ever managers. Makes us look just as fickle as Fulham fans :banghead:
