problem is that others have pointed out, we don't own the player. he remains their asset, not ours.

if he has a niggling injury that he could play through the pain barrier with, we are asking him to put the team ahead of his own interests. genuine team players like bamba are willing to do that, and he deserves great credit for that. although if i were being extra cynical, this is probably bamba's only shot at regular PL football, whereas camarasa is going to get a PL move next year if he wants to stay in this league.

NORTHERNBLUEBIRD

Do know what the problem is with CAMARASSA it can't be the weather its hotter than spain , if by all accounts its a muscle problem have we not got one of those freeze chambers at the tranning ground that could speed up his recovery or send him to cape wrath scotland for a few days.

Not good at all Warnock thinks he should play and has made that clear, Camarasa is not prepared to run through walls for the Manager, probably won't see him here next season, let's hope we can come to some compromise and get him on the pitch soon !!!

This speaks to a wider issues about loan players and their commitment to the team. Not knocking Camarasa, hes been great for us and the only real bit of quality we have in the middle, but it has to be different psychologically

PAULH 85
i agree with you about the wider issue you raised about loan players commitment to the cause, but harry arter must be an exception, although i do agree what somebody said on the forum the other day about arter running around looking like a chicken with its head chopped off on occasions

That's actually a very important and perceptive point. I've long thought that it's not ideal to be relying upon the continued good will of other clubs or the whims of players who can easily engineer a recall if and when it suits them.
Needs must,of course, and we've had to avail ourselves of this option but it'd be good to avoid it in future as soon as we possibly can.

Even if we had signed him, I don't think he's a Bamba run through walls type of person, that's what Warnock is saying, great player though let's hope we can get him 100% asap.

I think his presence or absence ,if only the bench, for next game will give us a clue.
If he's effectively awol that'd be a huge blow, but we need to know as soon as possible whether we can rely on him
