Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

Very sad and extremely difficult times at the club for the manager, players and everyone connected with the club.
I just hope tomorrow the players can find something deep within themselves and put on a fighting display and somehow manage to beat Arsenal.
Difficult i know but what a fitting tribute that would be.
We are all together in this.

It.s knocked the stuffing out of our club.
The FA never have had any compassion. Man U had to field a team of loanees and players who were not in the Munich air disaster days after for an fa Cup match.
The transfer window should have been pushed back a few days
To Neil it's like losing a son.

Like losing a son? Really? Have a day off

“It's definitely changed our outlook. But it's almost like if we don't sign anybody we don't sign anybody. Life goes on.

"We are looking to improve our squad. We are looking, but I've almost at that feeling now that I'm not too bothered either way.

"I know we want to improve and I know Mehmet and Ken and Vincent are doing their best. We have other targets and we had other targets before. But at the moment, it's not the be-all and end-all. You need to put this to bed really.

"If we get one or two targets in then that'd be great. I know they're working hard. But I don't think my heart's really been in that part of the job."

This worry me annis if his heart aint in it ,I think he should step down ,its been awefull news but theres a job to get on with we nedd players to stay up

Very worrying Wez, it’s like he has virtually given up.

Agree if he has get rid asap ,or he needs to get back to his old self sharpish

Wez, Maybe it’s just pure shock and hurting beyond more than any of us realise and as soon as the Arsenal game starts it might get his mind back in to the game :thumbright: :bluebird:

I think you are spot on about the Arsenal game getting his mind back on the game. As he said, he had his phone switched off on Saturday and had a much needed day off. When I saw him, he seemed relaxed and I saw glimpses of the Neil we all know and love. Having spent time over a number of weeks meeting with Emiliano, both he and Ken had a personal connection, so the shock and sadness would be even deeper. I could tell he was looking forward to training on Sunday. Meeting the Media on Monday, would obviously have put him back in touch with the shock and grief. Like you, I believe the Arsenal game will help him take a small step forward. I don’t believe he has given up.

Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

Whatever he decides to do should be his decision to make when he's ready. All of this he should go now crap I'm reading after what he's achieved is ridiculous and disrespectful to say the least. Now is the time to stand together not criticize.

Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

To be honest, I don't remember a week like this in over fifty years of supporting the City. An already difficult, and quite depressing, season has got much worse. We carry on, of course, but I've got a feeling that the stuffing is knocked out of us now. Nobody else will be sorry to see us relegated. Not worried about new signings, just give it our best shot with what we've got. I'm off to the Arsenal game tomorrow night. See how it goes! CTID.

Sam ReaN wrote:Neil Warnock got interviewed to the local press about the sad situation of Emiliano Sala, and from watching what he has to say he looks like he is on the ropes of whether to continue as Cardiff manager or just simply retire from football altogether. I as well as a lot of Cardiff fans would not be surprised if Warnock retired from football after the Arsenal match, because he's right, there are more important things in life to worry about than managing a team in football.

Either way I feel that this transfer window should just end as it is now because I don't expect anyone at our club and at the end of the day our season is with the same team that got us promoted and with a few additions from the summer 2018. And we have done alright with the team we have now.

I am hoping for an incredible reception as our beloved Bluebirds walk out with the Gunners, and yes it will be emotional but we have to do our best, in the worse situation. To cheer our team onto getting anything from the match. :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I would be surprised.

Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

What do people expect from him? He's not going to come out and say we move on and be upbeat about it. He would obviously be affected by the tragedy to Emiliano! Neil has probably got to know him quite well over the past few weeks.

Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

Mon Jan 28, 2019 10:13 pm

If hes not up for the job, in the nicest possible way he needs to move on and recover from this horrible event. If we carry on like the last few weeks then we're going to drift away without a fight.

Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

Personally i would like him to stay but no good forcing it if its not there and if self motivation has gone it cannot be passed on to others, how much more bad luck can we endure all we fans can do is support in everyway and try and keep up the volume on tbe terraces.

Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

Really surprised and disappointed with some of the posts on this thread given the circumstances over the last 5 days. Warnock is traumatised and already had a difficult task. He will know in the next week or so if he has the fight ( which I think he does ) but that was his first press conference since the tragedy. He’s in shock, but he’s an honest man and if he doesn’t feel he can continue be sure he will do the right thing and he will have my upmost respect.

He’s rescued this club on and off the pitch. Best manger we have ever had, of we get smashed by ten on Tuesday I will support Neil and team even more. It’s an horrific situation but Neil will know if he has the fight.

Bring on the emirates, we know the likely outcome but I cannot wait to show my appreciation to our team our club our city and our manager.

He seems to have lost his fight.

We can only hope that he feels more positive when the football starts again at Arsenal.

I honestly don’t think any more signings will arrive this window, I’ve thought that since last Monday night.

Totally agree..it has obviously affected him a lot. He has done the Nantes to Cardiff trip in a private plane a couple of times himself over the last few weeks and that must be playing on his mind.

I would think this now will almost certainly be has last season. Keeping us up would be a fitting end to a long and successful career

Re: WARNOCK: “ CCFC TRANSFERS “ HAS WARNOCK GIVEN UP?

Neil is the best thing to happen at this club for a very long time and quite rightly has earned the love of each of us, he is obviously in turmoil and maybe quite wrongly but naturally blaming himself for bringing Emiliano here, I hope he finds the strength to get through this but if he decides to retire then I fully respect his decision and will be ever grateful for what he's done for Cardiff City. To be honest I don't care much what happens on the pitch this season anymore I just want Neil Warnock and everyone else involved to get through this terrible nightmare, unfortunately until we have a definite outcome from the search it's going to drag on for some time.

We can all sit and judge no other manager has gone through this.
He met Sala on a few occasions he was Neil's choice .Also Sala bought in to the manager .Then his plain goes down he is missing the world's media come knocking Salas family speak to the club.
How does anyone deal with this my employee's grandmother passed yesterday I am gutted for him .Neils position is so much more I feel for him.
He needs us to give him what he needs that's support help come good just get the next game done .
Hit us all hard and Warnock is manager another level for him.
It's a life it's so difficult we need to honour Sala by staying up for him .

Shameful thing to say, we should be getting behind Warnock and the team more than ever now, not making suggestions that he should be sacked for grieving the loss of one of his players! Ridiculous comment.

We all want the best for the team and we all want to stay up, but sacking our best ever manager at this time is absurd.

He's a more sensitive chap than we think and very reflective.

He will be thinking back to his wife's illness and the Leicester City match after the crash and now this, it could take some time, he does look very down, he will need our backing and patience to try and lift him back up.

Stick together Bluebirds :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think wez means that if warnock decides to go then from a football point of view do it quickly so we still have a chance to stay in this league. This has been a tragedy for all concerned, (mainly Emiliano and his family) but Cardiff City is a football club and we all follow football and Cardiff City so our priority should be at all cost to try and stay in the best league in the world, now if Warnock decides he can't carry on then so be it that would be his decision and it should be respected. People on here are saying they don't care about football at the moment, so would you be happy if we got done 5-0 every game to the end of the season and then go down in a whimper?? well i wouldn't and i'm sure thousands of other city fans feel the same.

Sorry, but some awful and unthinking posts on this thread and I wonder where the sympathy of recent days has gone?

The whole club, most of its support base and the footballing community at large are still in shock at what has occurred and it's going to take some time to get things back to even a semblance of normality

What do some of you expect from Neil Warnock? He's hardly going to come out laughing and joking in his usual manner, is he?

The guy has been deeply affected by recent events and right now he needs support rather than some of the absolute garb that has been written above

He'll do his job when he needs and to some extent, an away game against the Arsenal is not such a bad thing. There will be no pressure on us, no great expectations for an upset and an opportunity for fans to unite behind the manager, players and club

Get behind the manager and show him your support! :ayatollah:
