Emiliano, It's horrible to think about the possibilities that you had to endure but I just hope that you didn't have to go through any suffering. Your loss has left a huge hole at our club for many reasons, and I'm sure you understand that. I promise you will be remembered at the club indefinitely, and hopefully you can watch every game of Cardiff & Nantes as I'd imagine you will be, supporting the boys, with your spirit forever living on at both clubs.

My family followed your transfer news throughout January, we were so excited to see you sign and looking forward to cheering you on against Bournemouth. My two children under 10 will be confused and upset when they don’t see you stepping out at the city stadium, but you won’t be forgotton. Rest In Peace Emiliano.

been going down the city since early 90s and this is one of the rare times ive been completely gobsmacked with whats happend . thoughts prayers with the family and friends of both men .once a bluebird allways a bluebird god bless

Can't express in words how I feel right now. Although we will never get to see him play in our blue shirt he will always be considered a bluebird. I send my condolences to both families a massive tragedy I hope and prey you get closure.

There is something terribly sad about about this. I am nearly 60, seen it all with knocks and smiles to prove it, but I have had tears in my eyes since Monday night. To Emiliano, my prayers. To his family and friends, I wish you strength.

It's so very sad. We all steer through life with hope. This young man, with an exciting new challenge ahead, saw his hope stolen from him. God bless you, young man......x
