Predictably this forum has gone into it's customary meltdown after a defeat. A win against Huddersfield and everyone will be happy again. I think everyone knows that the PL is far more important stature wise and financially than a cup competition we last won almost a century ago.

It should be highlighted and noted that the need for strikers is critical as we have not led in a single game this season at half time.

I wouldn't say any of them were 'shit' playing the game professionally is hard. How many have you commenting tried it?

Do we really want to be in the fa cup, full focus on premier league survival. Yes it’s embarrassing, but a victory over Huddersfield next week and all forgotten.

That was a strong team and we failed to break down a club 42 places below us. The embarrassment of both performance is huge. Some of our team are being shown for the flops they are. Let's be honest, was Reid a £10 investment ? And Murphy, equally good business ? This is a morale sapper before next week and exposes are inability to penetrate a lowly first division defence. We have to ask questions of how we set out today. We simply cannot dodge some serious questions. I back my team every week, but this weekend, I feel that we have be let down badly. Absolutely gutted, not for the FA Cup exit, but a dreadfully unprofessional performance by virtually the entire team. :banghead:

Totally agree! I'm not bothered about the cup but our lack of basic quality is appalling and extremely embarrassing.

I would imagine so yeah, otherwise the Club could ask to be taken out

The FA Cup isn't compulsory.

Yes gone into meltdown but surely have a right to by losing to a team 2 leagues below us! After all it's only the fa cup.....but Like you say all be forgotten after next game win or lose it won't matter :old:

Way I look at it is we all like a nice cup run, but providing we survive come the end of the season, nobody will give this game a second thought. I don't think Warnock will lose much sleep over this, I would guess if he could choose a win over Gillingham or Huddersfield it would be Huddersfield all day long. Things could be worse, I remember watching Bath City knock us out of this cup at Ninian Park some years ago. To be honest, if we are playing PL football next season (I know that's a big if), nothing else will have really mattered.

Mendez laing was pretty good today I thought

Murphy to me cannot control the ball at the pace he runs and can't pick a decent cross he also struggles to make space to distribute a pass under pressure!! I would love to see he passing accuracy stats

'providing we survive'.

Lets hope we dont go down and out of both cups at the first hurdle then.

I don't think he wants that, I don't think he deserves that, and I sincerely hope he doesn't get that.

I think he will be losing a lot of sleep over it personally as I think this season to Warnock is his chance to say to his doubters that he is more than a second tier manager

These things happen. It was disgraceful really, but at least we're not going to waste any more effort on this thing. I said we should have put the reserves out and I expect they wish they had
