I'd be gutted if this is the man we turn to. If reports are to be believed (which they probably shouldn't), everything was agreed and he used us to angle a better move elsewhere. As mentioned above, turning 31 on 12 Jan and never had a good spell in the Prem.

Exactly, same market as Grabban. Think he went safe after Grabban reportedly rejected us. Recruiting another striker isn't urgent imo. RB number 1. I'd sooner pay the £9m for a young, hungry foreigner than a 31 year old with a crap attitude. Better still, go to the foreign market for loans.

Agreed Grabban is a P***k and has strung us along twice before. At least we could make a profit on Abraham where as Grabban just wants one last big pay day and a last shot at the prem now he's 31. Not many of the Sunderland players liked him in that Sunderland doc.
