Looking at it from a distance, the rivalry seems quite toxic just now, but it was never exactly friendly. Looks set for an interesting second half to the season. Scotland is a proper footballing country, and I don't agree with the negativity about it that we get on here sometimes.

the standard isn't great but not as bad as some make out..
got to say I think Celtics fans do Scottish football as a whole no favours either..

The only noise they made was during the minutes silence.

Always makes me laugh seeing Welsh people taking the piss out of Scottish football. Miles ahead of the Welsh Premier League in every aspect.

Funny as well cause this Muppet of an OP is always going on about his dislike for England yet probably can't stand Welsh football. :?

Sad thing is, most people come on here to get away politics, and just want to talk football. He hates the English, but not so much as to stop speaking it.

Unfortunately.

I honestly believe that if those 2 teams were in the EPL they would clean up within 5 years.

What planet are you from ?

Majority of Scottish league players are championship standard - if they were better then Premier League clubs would sign them.

They wouldn't get anywhere near winning the league. The failure of scottish teams in europe year after year shows that they cannot compete.

I assume that his thinking is that they would bring players in over those 10 transfer windows and not spend 5 years with exactly the same players they have now...?

Take the TV money from PL clubs and they’d no longer be able to compete in Europe. How many PL clubs would get 50,000 crowds playing the likes of St Mirren or Hamilton. In the 70s Rangers were bigger than Man Utd in terms of turn over. TV money skews everything BBC payGary Linaker more than they pay for Scottish Football rights.
