We will reach the 30 mark and go down with Huddersfield and Fulham imo. With one of the smallest squads it will take its toll soon, recruitment is vital just to reach 30 points.

It's not the size of the squad as all teams have the same. It's the lack of strength in depth.

I think 2 clubs will go down with less than 30 points this season maybe 3 , and the next 3 rounds of games are massive regarding this as each of the bottom 3 have to play the other 2 clubs which means someone below us if not all will pick up points. 3 draws would be fantastic but 1 win and 1 defeat per team in these games wouldnt be the end of the world either..lets hope none of them win both games.

Hopefully we will strengthen in next few weeks. I have the same opinion as you regarding the 30 point mark. I doubt if this would be enough to keep us out of the bottom two, never mind the bottom three. I originally thought 35/36 points would be needed, but as some have said, I may have over estimated slightly, and we could stay up even with a couple less points than I said. Would'nt be surprised to see just three or four points separating the bottom four teams.

I'd say that since we are constantly improving and since we can reasonable expect to improve our squad very soon, then we should do a bit better in the second half of the season than we did in the first Lets not forget that every game adds more premiership experience to the entire team, and perhaps reduces the chance of these silly mistakes which have lost us points.
Providing that we can manage this quite small improvement I think we'll certainly be okay.

That's a fair post and I agree that 'Premier League' not Premiership (that's Rugby League

) experience should be key for any signings (loan or otherwise)
They are out there and they don't have to be current PL players; just experienced in it!

Arsenal????
I'll give you the other two but (let's be fair) we were still a little wide eyed at being in the Premier League and may be still a little nervous and naive
The change and rate of improvement/awareness since then has been remarkable given our initial expectations
