Well we got Norwich Tuesday so let's hope we get a couple of goals and get some confidence in the team and maybe we can kick on

Whilst we've obviously missed 2 golden opportunities against 10 men a bit of perspective, we are better off than 5 other clubs after 3 games? And Would fans have preferred us score 4 goals and lose all 3 games or have 2 points no goals? It is what it is and there's always next game to make amends :old:

Look at the teams we have played so far, compared to those below us

This season is all about finishing 4th from bottom.
No one is happy we are not scoring , but we have an honest bunch of pros who will give their all.
Since NW has been here the team has revolved around pace out wide, we lost Lang unfortunately very early and the side looked disjointed.
Let's support the boys and what will be will be.
3 games down and let's enjoy next Sunday.

We all play each other doesn't matter in what order it is the here and now that matters, those below could lose agains us and other potential relegation teams or are you guaranteeing teams below us now will win against the likes of us and Huddersfield? :old:

Forgetting the 2nd half a second, against most other teams in the league we would have been dead and buried at half time....I mean we were f*cking awful. That being said im glass half full and being at the game its clear to see our midfield battle well, Ralls is vital, Arter will pull all the strings and is getting better, what a work horse....and everything where possible must go through Murphy. We had plenty of space and options to thread the ball through but we ended up playing it outside to Bruno Manga who is never gonna cut in on a little run is he! If that didnt happen then we had the likes of arter running side to side looking for the clinical pass but there we werent creative enough. My main concern, Bruno Manga he cannot play effectively when attacking down the right and certainly just about copes when defending, painful to watch. Its time Ward started a game, we cant keep waiting for Zohore to come alive, i mean whats his role tactically if he isnt scoring? He doesnt do anything but run without actually pressing anybody.

Careful Annis they’ll be calling you a troll and a plastic Johnny come lately etc

I make it 2 golden chances missed, 10 man Newcastle were shocking as well, 4pts dropped so far, almost 5 with the penalty miss :ayatollah:

In your opinion what should have done yesterday to improve on his performance?

I can answer that, he still looked over weight, huffing/puffing. get in the right positions and take more responsibility, Johore did virtually nothing for 60mins.

Annis he had no service at all, I'm struggling to think of a game where the service has been that poor he was even trying to get in the wide areas to try and get some of the ball. I thought he did well considering it was basically an impossible job.

The only way he was scoring yesterday while he was on was if he went into midfield for the ball and did it all himself as he had nothing to got on service wise.

I know he has been injured but also thought he put a good shift in.

Luke, I honestly thought he did nothing and thats why I believe Warnock took Johore off.

Everyone around me also thought the same.

Lets hope your proved right in the long run as we need him to come good ASAP.
But I just don't think he is anywhere near Premiership material and will fail badly, I really hope Zohore proves me wrong :thumbright: :bluebird:

What could he do though Annis, he had no service at all during that game.

Against Newcastle I get it, he missed chances and people will have a go, that's fair I guess. Against Huddersfield I just can't see what he could have done. Warnock got the setup wrong for the first half imo.

I'm not sure he will be good enough Annis, time will tell that but whoever the striker was against Huddersfield until the red card it was impossible to judge them in my opinion.

Luke, both clubs yesterday looked like Championship clubs.

Huddersfield were awful, that was the type of game Zohore should of shone/stood out in,

You can also make your own chances and create some, I do agree that the service was not great at all.

It was a poor game but then the last quarter of the season we were playing like this.

All about opinions Annis and we will have to agree disagree on this game, to me Zohore had hardly none of the ball, not even scraps to work with. I don't think Ronaldo would have done any better yesterday.

We could have Harry Kane up front but with the service from our midfield and wide men he wouldn't have scored either.
Big problem is we had no width or quality down the right hand side. Manga and Patterson are not going to create much at this level. So any chance we had, would have needed to come down the left where Josh Murphy was too often crowded out or failed to provide any quality.
Another question, why does Warnock wait so long to bring on the 2nd striker (Reid) when the opposition go down to 10 men? It happened last week and this. I love Warnock as our manager but he does tend to err on the side of caution a little too much for my liking.
On the plus side our defence has settled in to the League nicely and doesn't look out of place. We restricted the home team to one effort on target yesterday and that bodes well for the future.

why just because they played last 30mins with ten men? how many times have you seen ten men win games it is not uncommon is it? it was only bad finishing that cost us the 3 points nothing else :old:
