Those prices were available in March by purchasing a season ticket!
which I fully took advantage of. however at the moment I am in a good place and am able to afford to pay for a season ticket. however not everyone can afford to do that, or cant get every weekend off work to watch the footy.
Boo hoo. We can't all afford what we want in life.
Fact of the matter is the club have some of the cheapest tickets in the league.

So you don’t think loyal fans should be rewarded? I think the club have done well. One of the cheapest teams in the premier league to watch and the flex 5 package the club has offered (and are still offering) brings the price down for people who can’t afford/commit to a season ticket.
People who moaned because ST prices went up after the Reading game deserve to pay more in my opinion. If the deciding factor to get a ST was whether we got promoted or not, then that is there own fault and people who got one regardless should be rewarded with lower prices. It’s simple, supply and demand.

no i dont think loyal fans should be rewarded..im a fan who has bought STs some seasons knowing id miss most games..i support the club not the other way around..my idea of being rewarded has been to watch my club climb the divisions with more and more people who once only had a passing interest become ST holders and attendances grow..
as for the moaning..tbh ive not seen any and im not sure why people keep pretending there is. a couple of people have told me they would have bought one had the prices remained low but thats not moaning .the people who have said things on here are generally long term ST holders that think its an opporunity lost and who dont understand the obsession with being REWARDED and actually putting this ficticious reward over being in a full stadium...how on earth can anyone sit there looking at 3k empty seats that could be full and be pleased or feel rewarded..?
have to say for somone like myself who has spent his life encouraging anyone and everyone to come along these loyal / feel reward/its THIER FAULT posts are guttting...
btw stating price increase is due to supply and demand only works when the demand bit is far greater than what we are witnessing selling only 50% of available STs at the increased price is not getting it right......and for what..? even had the club sold those inflated 2k STs it would amount to 0.5% of this years turn over..
they have not so have lost out by it..
as for the 8 to 10k new ST holders this year who jumped in at a lower price , whats the incentive to buy next year when its already clear you can pick and choose games....whats happened here actually flies in the face of every and any supply and demand model you can come up with.. a stadium opperating at 60% or les even when giving tickets for a fiver increases prices..?

Most have a cashflow problem from time to time so give them a helping hand, point them in the direction of cheaper tickets etc, BUT please don’t look down your nostrils at someone less fortunate than yourself, it’s negative(and comes from posters who demand positivity at the moment) and unhealthy, and could be you one day. As the poster dogfound pointed out "the more the merrier".
