Workers Rights, Equality and Fairer distribution of wealth would have been my guess but you obviously know better.

If it is an accurate description of their technological development then yes, it is perfectly fine.

However, the Middle East and the Indian sub continent were amongst the first to enter the Bronze Age.

Now you are beginning to understand well done.

You are obviously much smarter than dogfound in dodging the question.

No, just concerned by xenophobes trying to normalise their anti-Islam views as 'centre ground'

The far left and far right are as bad as each other. Don't try and tar the 'centre ground' with the racist shit, that's all :thumbright:

Of course the Jews are not a race, I could convert tomorrow (obviously I love bacon too much to actually do it) and it wouldn’t change my race. I know a Scottish guy who converted to Islam he was still Scottish/British. If you give Judaism race status you have to do the same for Pentecostals or Vulcans.

Dave67 wrote:Source: Racial Equality ‘Is Under Attack’, Experts Warn General Assembly, Urging States to Mark International Day by Stamping out Discrimination, Intolerance

ANTÓNIO GUTERRES, Secretary-General of the United Nations wrote:... citing an alarming rise in xenophobia, racism and intolerance — including anti‑Semitism and anti‑Muslim hatred — he said far-right political parties and neo‑Nazi views were similarly seeing a resurgence. Meanwhile, refugees and migrants were systematically denied their rights and unjustly and falsely vilified as threats to the societies they sought to join. Calling on all people to consider how they could better promote tolerance, inclusion and respect for diversity, he said messages of hatred and the concept of “us” and “them” must be eliminated. “Let us keep in mind the grave consequences of such thinking — discrimination, slavery and genocide,” he stressed, adding: “We must always stand up to leaders who spread their toxic vision of racial superiority, especially when they couch it in sanitized language to denigrate migrants and foreigners.

Not the best man to cite to prove your point there Dave.

Guterres is an extreme far-left, open border zealot who has used his office in the UN to openly drive a full globalist agenda with statements such as I" will ask the governments to cooperate, to recognize that sovereignty is an illusion" and "The idea that management of migration is a matter of national sovereignty is extremely limited"

Also given his links with various national communist parties as leader of the Socialist Internationalist party, personally I think it's quite rich for him to be talking about discrimination, slavery and genocide - things that have all had a tendency to pop up with alarming regularity in communist societies across history.

And that's before we even get to the fact that whilst he was prime minister the Portuguese parliament was dissolved as his party crumbled under a slew of allegations of corruption and poor economic management. Him getting the UN job is a bit like Carvahal getting the Swansea job after failing at Wednesday - jammy buggers the Portuguese I guess.

Basically quoting Guterres on immigration is the equivalent of quoting a turkey saying we should all be a vegetarian dinner on Christmas day. :laughing6:

Pathetically predictable, the UN has Saudi on its Human Rights Council, it is a busted flush with a slanted political agenda. Ironically you don’t agree with the poster so you try to discredit him by suggesting he’s a Britain First Supporter. Please tell me that was a joke, if you're stopping people from entering a country because of their religion then by definition the policy is to stop a person from entering based on their religion.. dont think you honestly thought i was referring to a political stance of stopping one muslim bloke from entering the UK? surely?

well you either tried to reduce it all down to 1 person in the hope others are dullards
or you can not see the huge difference
muslim pop went from
from 50k to over THREE MILLION in 50 years..thats a multipication factor of 60.
so no its not about one person its about mass imigration. mass...

i never once even referred to mass immigration i was talking about the 'anti-islam' side of it, really not sure why you're confusing the two or trying to merge them, they are totally different issues and the policies of an openly 'anti-islamic' party would be different to one which wants to sort out immigration. for example if you want to limit immigration on general scale, across the board and to all races and religions, bringing in criteria or a points system as they have in Australia to ensure skilled workers etc, tighten visa acceptance rates to ensure we are not overcrowded, that would at least make sense.

If you want to stop muslims from entering the country based on nothing other than a fear they are taking over, a dislike of their practices or whatever it may be (which by the way, would mean STOPPING A PERSON FROM ENTERING BECAUSE OF THEIR RELIGION :laughing6: ) then that is totally different.

Several prominent Muslim leaders have stated Islam will conquer Europe with the wombs of Muslim Women, Turkish PM being the latest, what do you think that means.

Jock wrote:You seem to be missing the simple point, AS NUMBERS GROW political and social influence increases. Personally I don’t believe Islam is compatible with our society, we already have numerous Sharia courts operating in the U.K. the insidious spread of Wahhabism is concerning, Halal food is the norm in schools, hospitals and supermarkets. The Holy Trinity of those who claim socialist credentials was always womans rights, animal rights and gay rights not anymore, none of these groups are well treated under Islam but Islam trumps every other groups rights. Inevitably as the number of Muslims increases these groups will suffer more.

have you looked at voting figures in the general election, one poll showed that the majority of muslims were pro-labour (which im guessing is the socialist, animal woman gay lover type of group you're referring to) therefore, in the real world, more muslims in the UK would result in issues which you think are threatened by islam actually being brought forward with the labour party coming into power.

That is based on polls and forecasts, not fear mongering.

You talk about sharia courts but they're mainly to settle religious matters, much like the jewish religious courts which have been in place here for many decades. Neither will ever overrule the british judiciary system. You also talk about majority of schools being halal but I can't see much evidence of that to be honest, it's definitely not mandatory nor will it ever be in the real world here.

Re: Interesting political poll

It’s a bit restrictive.

Personally I’m sort of centre right.

Libertarian socially and fiscally conservative. I believe in lower taxes and smaller government because I believe if we allow people to keep more of their money it gives them more to spend. If they spend more they demand more services and good which in term generates more jobs. Simplistic perhaps but this is just an Internet forum and I’m typing on my phone!!! I’m more of a carrot than a stick type of person. I believe in free speech even if that speech means you hear arse holes. Let them defeat themselves with their own words. Silence them and you create martyrs.

I’m not anti Islam. Far from it. I’m not annti anyone unless they are an idiot. I don’t believe in free open borders either. I absolutely agree with migration and I’m comfortable with reducing barriers but ultimately the country should have the right to say no to the people tbh don’t want and be able to manage inward flow to allow service provision etc to catch up with demand.
