Come on guys, let's be inclusive; we are British after all. It's not like he was referring to Humpty Trumpty USA. If they would stop singing that f*****g homage to a privelaged bint I'd quite take to them.

With you on this. It was a stupid and embarrassing slip of the tongue in the heat of a live TV debate. We don't like hearing it but to throw around the abuse is an overreaction.

i dont want to over react really, hes gotten off to a decent start in charge. but i think if it was me there, never in a million years would i say "we" when talking about England.

i wouldnt either..but i have lived my entire life in Wales so its not quite the same thing and we are all different.
slightly different but do you want immigrants here to integrate and ideally feel at least partly welsh or bloody mindedly cling on to their bloodline..
i know quite a few boys of italian decent who who support Cardiff and Wales but will support Italy in world cups and say WE about both Wales and Italy.

Fair point but hes managing the Wales National team and is representing the team and, by extension, the country where ever he goes.

Like i said, i dont want to over-react to it, i dont think its a massive deal but also would rather he didnt say it

FFS this is the real world....were all British

Yes, we may be British, but I doubt if many of us on here will be saying I hope we beat Columbia next week.

I think there are some on here who would say it because they are English and obviously support their national team. I think the main reason not many of us will say I hope we beat Columbia, is because we are not playing them.

Well I hope Colombia beat us; I've always been a great fan of South American football
