4 mil max

   For 19 championship goals.....25 and English !!!

Again one good season? Eoin Doyle was leading scorer in league one with more goals than that does that mean he was an £8 million pound striker?

But that's not league one though. This is the championship. We have to be real and accept that the market is inflated massively.

I agree the market is inflated but every time I've seen this boy he has shown nowhere near the quality to be a £10 million pound player and that's including his one good season, I feel for ten million we can get a lot better than him, if it comes off then he'll have !y support and hopefully proves me completely wrong

We are a promoted championship team, we can only realistically buy proven top end championship players or old premier league players on the downgrade. I believe what Warnock is doing makes sense.

Theres no way Bristol are letting Reid run down his contract, they would be selling him if Stoke, Albion, Forest, Boro or whoever this season moneybags championship club are for absolutely no less than 6 milion plus add ons.

How much do you think the still unproven at championship level Danish kid is worth ?

Talented young man already marked his ticket, I think he will do well though the premier is a tougher challenge, I hope Warnock will blend some premier experience into the side he will need this to steady the ship when the chips are down.

I laughed at the prices getting out about for zohore even though I said don't sell, because I believed he would help us go up so promotion is worth more than £15 million that we got offered but now we're in the prem if we got offered that for him now id snap their hands off

After reading some of these comments on here, it’s laughable how some think that £10m is a lot for a proven goal scorer in the top end of the championship. It’s actually peanuts in today’s market and if true, Warnock knows what he’s doing.
I for one would absolutely love this to happen, he is quality and I think would do the business in the Prem and still young too. Well done to all that hopefully makes this happen.

Young English talent will always cost over the odds.

Player with great technical ability, and hopefully could do well for us

It’s wages, not fees, which are the important figures, especially if we get relegated. I bet Reid’s wages will be half of what an established Premier League player would ask.

Exciting player, got lots of goals in him and can play in a number of positions. PLUS half of Bristol is rustled!!

Would be a great signing. 19 goals & a shed full of assists in the Championship last season. A very talented footballer.

Would also like a big powerful defensive midfielder to come in someone like Diame at Newcastle.

I like what Warnock is doing, buying high end young championship players on lower wages. I think we will have a good crack this season, but If we did go down and all these players will have re sell value, or we could even keep the majority and try to bounce back.
I wouldn’t waste my time on the old Prem players no one wants their burnt out will put no effort in just cash in.

Spot on. 10m is peanuts in today’s market.

Very concerned we are only looking at Championship players, surely we can get more established players from abroad ??

yes he may have only had one good season in the championship but 1 good season in the prem and his value will double

Good signings so far. We need three midfielders with pace and a right back. Have we spent our budget or is Mr Tan looking to build on NW expertise.

Another out of the blue signing, had an amazing season.

Must admit I'm struggling to see how we will setup as a team next year.

Can Reid play in the No. 10 role?

If so maybe Junior shifts to the right and the front 4 could look like:

Reid

Hoillet Murphy

Zohore

Not sure what you do with Patterson then, RB maybe but NW doesn't rate his defending... And don't think he has the composure for a Cm role.

In my mind, at the moment, all 4 don't really feel like an upgrade on what we alrwsdy have, just more strength in depth.

I think warnock has tan full trust, so I think the budget is more that what has been said. I assume as long as transfers are within reason then think we are gunna be surprise how much we spend. If he's sign and smithies from qpr, all the signing equivalent to 28 mil so far that's without wages so and signing on fees and bonuses.

Look warnock is a championship manager buying championship players ready for when we become a championship side next season.looks like we're gonna rely on zohore for the goals next year even tho he couldn't handle it in the championship but oh well let's just enjoy the season..

Think he will fit in Patterson's role and Patterson to the bench, that front four is full of pace and Reid could add that bit of creativity that we've been missing as well, he always seems to look forward whenever I've watched him. Going to be very much a counter attack team next year.

That's the way we like it.

A front 4 of Murphy Hoilett Zohore and Reid would be great. We'd have NML as in impact player and potentially a striker who is better than Zohore :thumbright: :ayatollah:

I'd agree with that. He's a perfect fit to play just off our main striker. I really like the way our squad is shaping up. There's raw pace and goal threats in our 4 attacking positions, none of the new signings will be on astronomical wages and should all integrate into our "no big time Charlies" squad pretty well.

A quality central midfielder of two should give us a fighting chance of staying up - and if not a great squad for Championship football.

How many players will we have from the PFA Championship team of the year?

Obviously, lot's were from Wolves and Fulham, but some of the other players signed must have been in contention, it will be really interesting to see how this works out?
